Redirection for restricted user not working

We have setup your plugin on our site. It was working fine before we went live. However, now we have a group of users who can NOT access specific type of products. It shows 404 page for those users whereas, it should actually redirect them to specific page.

Can you please assist ASAP? Site is live.

live site url:

Restricted category :
and products inside it
It should be redirected to :

Please let us know.

    Following up my previous comment, do you by any chance use any sort of caching functionality on your hosting server?
    It is possible that the functionality of the plugin is influenced by caching which can lead in serving the already stored pages/products/posts and make them behave as non-restricted.

    Hi Joseph,

    Thanks for providing a staging site for us.
    Can you also please enable debugging in your staging site only?

    To enable debugging, edit your wp-config.php file and do the following:
    Replace this line:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );

    with these lines:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );

    Hi Gerorge,

    Thank you for reverting back to me.

    I have setup a staging for you and you can access it here:

    The admin credentials are same as live. While working some of the menu links on front end might take you to live. Make sure you are working on staging all the time.

    Looking forward to hear from you soon.

    Hi Josheph,

    Thanks for providing access.
    I’ve visited your site and there is probably an issue/ conflict. After several visits on your restricted category, only once was it restricted. On all my other visits the category was accessible for visitors. The same applies for the product which seems to be restricted too.
    Unless you are using a custom implementation that overrides restrictions, there is probably a conflict which I didn’t look further in order to avoid breaking the current functionality of your site since it’s running live.

    I would happily look further on this if you can provide a staging copy of your site, where we can perform tests without hesitating. Once you create the staging site, make sure to enable debugging and send me the login credentials here.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Joseph,

    I checked your website and noticed that the category can be visited so I assume that you removed the restriction.
    We can have a look at your site and settings if you send temp admin credentials to and use the topic title as subject but since you are live, I think it’s better if you can provide a staging copy where we can perform tests without interfering with the live edition.

    Kind regards,
