Referall permanent from the first click

Hello, excuse for my bad english

I want that permanent affiliate assignments is produced when a costumer click on the affiliate link.

I want that permanent affiliate assignments is produced without any other action from the customers.

I want that the person that click on matthew’s affiliate link is referred forever to Matthews.
If this person will clik on John’s affiliate link does’nt referred to John.
Thoug the person does not purchase anything and does not registered.

Is this possible?

I have affiliate enterprise too

The way the permanent assignment works is that when a customer first places an order, the permanent assignment is made based on the affiliate who has referred the customer.

I would assume that your case is covered by giving a very big value to the referral timeout parameter under Affiliates > Options.

      I have do that.
but when a referral click on a new affiliate link he become a referral for the new one…
I try to explain: person A click on affiliate link of person B. Now person A is a referral of person B. But if a person A click on affiliate link of person C he become a referral of person C and B lost is referral…

There’s a way to fix it?

Ok I see what you mean now. That would be a question of which algorithm to use when the referring affiliate is determined. The system uses last affiliate to refer a visitor is the one who gets the referral. What you’re suggesting is to take the first one. The closest you can get is by using the permanent assignment right now. We’re considering providing alternatives to the algorithm that is being used right now.
