Referral Email Sent to Affiliates for Free EDD Product Checkouts – How to Stop?

Hi Kento,

We have discovered that zero priced EDD products being checked out are still triggering referral emails to affiliates (if sent by affiliate that is).

Do you know of a way to account for this and bypass email trigger if only thing in cart is zero-priced product?

We are trying to mitigate “hey I made referrals, but didn’t make any commissions.” type emails 🙂

Hi kento, we wrapped up a couple of plugins we want you to know about. Thanks for your assistance as always:)

    1. Cool, many thanks for sharing these!

I also like the post and how you explain the solution using a different rate for vendor products. I think this is a great example on how people can synergize, great job! 🙂

  2. Hi there,

Yes there is a way to avoid these, there’s no direct option you could set but you can inhibit the notification using a filter.
