remove dashboard widget

I need to remove the dashboard widget – I can just swipe the code from the plugin ir I can add something to the theme functions file but I’d rather do it directly in the plugin settings.

Can this be done/ did I miss something?

Yes, yes, I should have stated the obvious that, of course, I can manually uncheck the tab option but I want to turn it off for everyone by default.

    Check the Screen Options tab at the top of the Dashboard, there is a checkbox labeled Affiliates, the dashboard widget is disabled if that box is unchecked 🙂
