upgrade WordPress Core 4.3

Aloha! hey i have upgrade WordPress Core 4.3 and our site is very slow I contact WPengine enginiers and we find out that

Groups plugin that’s running a crazy number of queries – the groups plugin is running 2679 queries to the database, where 100 or less would be considered okay territory.

can you tell us if will be a upgrade soon or how can i fix that

    Aloha! hey i call the guys from WPengine where we host our sites what thy have the plugin. They told me they was your problems with the plugin code not on their end. Any how the problem is make the sites very slow.

      Hi,

      Earlier in April this year I was in touch with Jorge Perez from WP Engine (Request #364562). At the time, I pointed out the following:

      Do you have any plans to update the function signature of wp_cache_get() to include the 3rd and especially the 4th $found parameter so that when object caching is used, we can distinguish between a cache miss and a cached false?

      W3TC uses the same signature as your implementation and it creates problems when you store false as a value and want to retrieve it from cache.

      Jorge responded that he had submitted my suggestion to their engineering department for review as a feature request.

      The high number of queries is a result of Groups’ dependency on being able to retrieve the boolean value false from cache and the inability of WP Engine’s implementation of wp_cache_get to distinguish between that value and a cache miss as their implementation is missing support for that function’s fourth parameter $found.

      We have two options, either build a work-around into Groups and similar plugins or WP Engine’s implementation is fixed.

    Hi Paul,
    this should be a problem with WPEngine and how they manage the cache.
    Please give us your Groups plugins version and what plugin you have installed relating to cache.
