Auto login after affiliate account creation not working
—
by
So at one time when our affiliates would create their account with the affiliate sign-up form it would submit and then log them directly into wordpress.
At some point this broke. They no longer get auto-logged in. The account does get created…we just need to auto log it in.
We have been trying to figure out what the heck we did…..is it possible that WP 4.3 and the new strong passwords has messed something up with auto login?
Thanks,
Joel

Perfect,
please share the plugin name for the community.

We are using the [affiliates_registration] shortcode

You can see in the screen shot there that is has a spot to put the password in…..I was pretty sure it was auto-logging people in before.
Hi Joel,
this field is used to assign the password to the new user. Affiliates registration is based on the wordpress registration. Maybe before wordpress had this feature, I do not really remember it.
