Hi Sascha,
This is the default sender address used by WordPress when sending emails.
In general, whenever your site sends an email, it will use this address, whether it is i.e. an affiliate notification or a confirmation mail for a new user registration.
It can be changed easily by using another plugin like WP Mail SMTP by WPForms. After installing and activating, you can set the from name and email address. Both fields can be found under Advanced Email Options in the plugin settings. In the plugin page there is also a screenshot to guide you.
