Commission Rate by percentage

Hi, I purchased the Affiliate Pro mainly because I thought it can record the commission on percentage instead of a fixed amount.

I created a New Rate for a tested affiliate at 30%. However, after the referred purchase, the commission assigned to the affiliate is based on the fixed amount, not the percentage from the New rate I created. I’m not sure if there is something I’m missing or else. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks a lot

Benjamin

    Hi Eugen
I have been waiting for a solution to get the percentage.

I have done that but the flat rate was recorded instead of the percentage. Please see my setting for Rate:

Then see the Total, which is $20 flat rate instead of a portion of the course fee

Can you tell me what step I have missed?

        Hi Carol,

I trust you are well today!

Thank you so much for being ever so patient. Currently, Affiliates plugin doesn’t integrate with LearnDash.

It would seem you have user registration integration enabled. That’s you are recording rates. I would love to confirm if this is the case: Please from your WP admin dashboard: Navigate to Affiliates > User Registration and verify if you have a base amount of $20 set.

        Kindest regards,
        Eugen.

          Hi Eugen

I think this plugin is not doing what I need. Would you please give me the money back as promised? Thank you!

            Hi Carol,

I trust you are well today!

Thank you so much for your patience, I totally share your pain. Here’s an ad-on by LearnDash that integrates with WooCommerce:
            * https://www.learndash.com/add-on/woocommerce/

Once the ad-on is installed and activated, you should be able to create WC products that map to your courses and you can then set up rates for these products.

It is also worth noting that Affiliates integrates with WooCommerce and not LearnDash. However, since the ad-on serves as a bridge between Learndash and WooCommerce. You could have those set up and the rates should apply thereafter.

I remain devoted to helping you resolve this issue. And yes, if it doesn’t work out your refund would be processed.

While hoping you’ll give the LearnDash add-on a try, I remain available to help if you have any further inquiries.

STAY SAFE and I wish you a very fine day ahead.
            Kindest regards,
            Eugen.

    Hi Eugen
    Thanks for your reply!

I’m using a plugin called LearnDash to create the e-learning course. That case, I didn’t set up WooCommewrce for the product. The product is the course created by using LearnDash. That said, do I still need the plugin Affiliate WooCommerce?

I believe I have done what the link suggested. i.e. created a New Rate for the new affiliate. However, when the product is purchased, the commission assigned is a flat rate. The rate I put in Affiliate/User Registration/Amount

Does this overwrite the Rate for percentage? Should I leave this “0”?

Please kindly advise! Thanks a lot!

      Hi Eugen
I have user registration integration enabled. And I did 2 other things. I set the base amount at $10. And I created a Rate for the affiliate as 0.3, i.e. 30%. However, the fixed amount has been recorded but not the percentage. Can you clarify if a percentage is what this plugin can do?

      Thanks

    Hi Benjamin,

I trust you are doing great!

Thank you so much for choosing and using Affiliates Pro. It brings us great joy to have you as our valued customer.

Please do you have this addon installed: Affiliates WooCommerce? Essentially it fully automates affiliate commissions for sales of WC products.

I’ll go ahead and send you a link to the add-on to the email attached, to your order.

Please have a look at the resource and let me know. In the meantime, I wish you a very fun and productive day ahead.

    STAY SAFE!
    Kindest regards,
    Eugen.

      Hi Carol,

Thanks for the update and sorry I am just replying to this now.

You wouldn’t need the addon in this case. Please set the rate type to rate. In this case:
      0.01 for 1% or 0.2 for 2% …

I remain available if you need further help. Let me know how it goes.

Once again, I wish you a very fun and amazing weekend.

      STAY SAFE!
      Kindest regards,
      Eugen.
