conflicting ref

Hi George,

I’m having a problem with the referral link of one client that I know of for now, is this.

From dash board panel.
Link: https://www.opendoorenglish.com/?ref=12
URL Parameter: ?ref=12

Client back office of client shows this.
https://www.opendoorenglish.com?ref=ode1

I don’t know if this is happening to others, but one sure.

Please advise
Crawford

    Hi John,

Please if it is possible, could you provide me with admin access to your site?
You can send your admin credentials to george at itthinx dot com.

    Cheers,

    Hi George,

Yes, the “Affiliate Area” is what I’m referring to. There are 2 link references to the affiliate, their URL link, and their embedded link. I had to put some of the affiliates by hand and later had to make changes to their usernames. Although in the “Manage Affiliates” panel information reflects correct, the information in the “Affiliate Area” does not.

If there is no simple solution to solve the problem, I will consider your suggest and purchase the plugin that you referred to earlier.

    Thanks

    Hi John,

What do you mean by client back office of client?
If you are using Affiliates by Username and the affiliate’s username is ode1, then the second link could be valid.
If not, then affiliate link should always be like the first link.
Also, please make sure that your affiliates only use the links you provide through the affiliate area, because these links are generated automatically by shortcodes.

    Kind regards,
    George
