    Hi Eugen,

    Thanks for your very detailed suggestions! I really appreciate it!

    The only thing I am not clear is how to use the Template Coupon to generate coupons for affiliates. I don’t see an option to configure a template coupon. I must have missed something. I appreciate it if you can point it out.

    Stay safe and thank you!

    Best regards,
    Huaqing

      Hi Huaqing,

      I am glad you doing great! And you are welcome.

      Please disregard the 7th step. I just noticed I had the new version of Affiliates Coupons we are developing, active on my test site. We are currently developing the feature to create coupons within Affiliates Coupons based on a template from WooCommerce -> Coupons. This feature isn’t quite ready yet, so we would have to use the old method.

      For instance, consider this scenario: you would love to give all your affiliates a 20% coupon code, that is applicable for $50 minimum spend. You should do the following

      From your WordPress admin dashboard:
      * Click on Affiliates Coupons
      * Click on Bulk Options
      * Specify the parameters as needed. (Note that min spend will not be visible at this point. We’ll handle that after generating the coupons)
      * Optional: Enter: discount-{affiliate_username}-20 in the Coupons prefix used input field, OR decide on the tokens that best suit you. You can read more about that here.
      * Click on Create

      Now unto specifying the minimum spend:
      * You would need to edit each coupon individual in order to specify the minimum spend from the Usage restriction section of these coupons.

      I know its manual right now, hence the reason we are building the new feature. I must apologize for the inconvenience this might cause but as soon as this fix is ready, you’ll be the first to know.

      STAY SAFE!
      Warm regards,
      Eugen.

    Hi, there Huaqing,

    I trust you are doing great! Thank you for choosing Affiliates and its extensions, we are very glad to have you as our valued customer.

    I must begin by apologizing for the delayed response. I am deeply sorry for the late reply to your inquiry.

    With respect to your question:
    > How can I configure the coupon generated to have a minimum spend (e.g. $50) and can be used only by new customers? We have WooCommerce site.

    As of right now, Affiliate coupons, can’t restrict the coupons to be used only by new customers. However, you can use this plugin for this restriction.

    However, on the plus side, you can definitely configure a coupon that has a minimum spend of $50.

    You can achieve this by doing the following:
    1. Navigate to WooCommerce -> Coupons
    2. Click on Add Coupon
    3. Define the coupon code
    4. In the coupon data section: specify the discount type, coupon amount, coupon expiry date if applicable.
    5. Click on Usage restriction
    6. Specify Minimum spend amount

    7. Then you use the coupon you’ve just created as a Template Coupon within Affiliates Coupons. Then generate the coupons for affiliates.

    I remain available if you have any further inquiries.

    Once again, I super sorry for the delayed response and I wish you an awesome and productive day ahead!

    STAY SAFE!
    Warm regards,
    Eugen.
