Is There a Way to Block All Bots

Is there a way to block all bot traffic from counting?

The reason I ask is because I pay my affiliates PPC and it appears that they may be sending me fake traffic and it’s counting towards their pay but not actually showing up in my Google Analytics stats.

I think they’re using Bots.

Or is there a way to only allow traffic from Facebook, Twitter, etc. to be counted?

Thanks!

How do I get the Pay Per Visit module?

I only see the Pay per Click Module.

      Hi Brennen,
From Affiliates->Pay Per Click you can select ‘Visit’ as type.

    Hi,

Yes you can block the IPs from bots once you have identified them as such. For example, you can use iptables to block requests from those IPs.

If you get many visits from some IPs, you could either block these or consider using pay-per-visit instead of pay-per-click.

    Cheers
