In general I would say that there’s no actual rule of thumb as to which robots to exclude or not. After all the main purpose of this feature is to exclude hits on your affiliates links from specific bots. Therefore even the ones shown in the documentation screenshot
– https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/setup/settings/general/
might or might not be needed to be included in your stats. Still though excluding them in your list doesn’t necessarily make them bad bots.
IMO it would be better to check your stats frequently and decide whether you should exclude a specific bot or not judging by the traffic it generates.
