Managing capabililties


I couldn’t see a general Groups forum, so I put this in here…it relates to capabilities.

When I add a new one it goes way down the long list, so a tab with “My Capabilities” would be very useful.

I stated deleting the ones I am not going to use in Groups but got nervous that this might affect other aspects of the site and Groups operation,

If I clear out all the ones other than the groups read access, so that I can see my added capabilities, will this cause a problem, which ones must I keep..

    Hi Iain,

    Thanks for the suggestion regarding “My Capabilities”, unfortunately this can’t be done because capabilities are not related to the user that creates them.

    Regarding the existing capabilities, you can delete them if you don’t use them, if you want to restore the list there is also a button on the top right to refresh them.

    Note that there are also filters that help to reduce the list.
