Need Set Up Help

Posted in

I am having a brutal time trying to set up Affilaites Pro with the Contact Form 7 integration. Everything is installed and activated. Where can I find someone to help with the set up? I have gone through the documentation, but still cannot make heads or tails of it.

      Hi James,

Good morning. Thank you for the feedback.

      With regards to question #3;
      * Please download and install our Affiliates Contact Form 7 Integration.
      * Once installed, please navigate to Affiliates > Rates.
      * Add a new Rate and in the integration field select Contact Form 7.
      * This would enable all Contact Form 7 referred submissions to be recorded. In the screenshot below you can see the submitted form data alongside the affiliate that referred it.

With regards to question #4: You get the error because the user doesn’t exist. You would need to create an account for the user first, then use the username to create the affiliate account. For example, assume you want to create an affiliate called James Jik, you’ll start off by navigating to Users > Add New from your WordPress admin dashboard. From there please specify all the required information, then proceed to Add New User.

From there, once the user is created, you’ll then use the username as highlighted in the screenshot above to create the affiliate.

Once again thank you for reaching out and for asking your question.

I remain available if you have any further inquiries.
      Best,
      Eugen.

Thank you. I have no idea of the step by step process of setting it up. What I am looking to do is very simple related to affiliate programs.
    1. Have a link for each affiliate that will recognize them as the lead source with the ability to name ?referrer=XXX. No payouts until we get a job, then they receive a 20% referral fee
    2. Send the affiliate an email when we receive a lead from them that I can edit.
    3. Have the lead source noted on my contact form 7 inquiry email when a request is made.
    4. Ability for Admin to add a lead to an Affiliate manually
    5. Affiliate backend to view leads and lead status – Following up, Creating, Completed, Dead
    6. Admin ability to update lead status and add payout upon Completion
    7. Access & Edit pages in affiliate area

My preference would be to hire someone who can go into WP and do the work and then explain how to use it. If that is not possible, step by step instructions

      Hi James,

Good morning and happy new week!

Thank you so much for sharing details to your request.

      With regards to your inquiries:
      1. Have a link for each affiliate that will recognize them as the lead source with the ability to name ?referrer=XXX. No payouts until we get a job, then they receive a 20% referral fee
Yes, you can have the affiliates links. In this case it would be http://xyz.com?affiliates=XXX, where xyz.com would be your domain name and XXX would be the ID of the affiliate. This link is generated for every affiliate that signs up to become an affiliate. You can enable Affiliate registration by navigating to you: Affliates > Settings > Registration. Next, please ensure that this option “Allow affiliate registration” is checked. Please see the screenshot below for more on this: https://ibb.co/M14ZgJV

Furthermore you can read more on how to setup rates(refferel fee) here.

      2. Send the affiliate an email when we receive a lead from them that I can edit.
We do offer notifications which can be customized to meet your needs. You can read more here. You can access the notifications section by navigating to: Affiliates > Notifications.

      3. Have the lead source noted on my contact form 7 inquiry email when a request is made.
I am not sure I totally understand this item clearly. Please can you explain further.

      4. Ability for Admin to add a lead to an Affiliate manually
Yes, you can add referrals manually from the admin side.

      5. Affiliate backend to view leads and lead status – Following up, Creating, Completed, Dead
You can also view the status on referrals, however, we only support two for now: Pending and Approved.

      6. Admin ability to update lead status and add payout upon Completion
Yes, you can update the status of each referral, and for payouts please refer to this section of the documentation

      7. Access & Edit pages in affiliate area
Yes, you can edit. However, to best guide you, please specify the areas you would love to edit. It is also worth noting that we offer the use of shortcodes, which you can use when Affiliates is installed. Here’s a link to our shortcodes.

STAY SAFE and I wish you a very fine and productive rest of your day.
      Best,
      Eugen.
