Ninja Forms not creating affiliate.

Posted in

I just noticed today that when you sign up using the ninja form, it no longer signs the affiliate up, or creates the coupon.

It does, however: Create a WP User, Sends the notification created in affiliates pro, and the other actions on the ninja form.

I have this on two sites and it WAS working on both sites, but now does not work on either site. The regular affiliate form works ok, but I require you to be logged in to use that version, as it does not sign you in automatically. The Ninja form is being used to create the new account along with signing them in and redirecting them to the coupon code page.

I did notice that WP updated both sites to 5.4 yesterday. Can you help me figure out why the registration does not work? I turned on wp_debug and have not found anything helpful there.

    Hi Melissa,

That’s great, I’m glad you resolved it. 🙂
So far we haven’t received a similar report and as I mentioned I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue.
If though you notice anything strange with the forms, you can post a new topic here.

    Cheers,
    George

Thanks for the reply George, I had been struggling with this.

I confirmed all 3 items, and I had already duplicated a form and removed some of the actions except for the affiliates registration and it did not work. After your email this morning I recreated the forms from scratch and the new forms worked on both sites! Yeah!!!

Thanks for your response, I really was just wanting to know if anyone else was having the problem and since you did not mention that I just tried it from scratch. I still don’t know why the other forms stopped working, but oh well, it’s working now!

Have a great day and stay safe!

    Hi Melissa,

Sorry to hear that you have issues, but please review my recommendation below and check your settings once more.
    1) Have a look at the form used for affiliate registrations and make sure that the Affiliate Registration action is present and is turned on.
    2) Edit that action and confirm that the Affiliate registration toggle is on.
    3) Check your affiliates list under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates and in the Filters section select the options to Include inoperative, active and pending affiliates.

Please keep me posted with your findings.

    Kind regards,
    George
