Site displays wrong when i insert affiliate querystring to url

Hello – for some reason a few things break on my site when I use the affiliate URL generated by Enterprise. For example when I insert the URL https://getcellshield.com/?ptr=5 the site uses a different main navigation menu and the content on the homepage duplicates or shows twice. (compare to https://getcellshield.com/). I tried deactivating the plugins but it only fixed itself when I deactivated the Affiliates Enterprise plugin. Any ideas on whats causing this issue? Please let me know of any questions or if this was answered anywhere in the forum. Thank you! – Donald

Hello George – thanks for your reply. I have tried twice to send you an email with access information to our site but both times came back as undeliverable. Can you try to send me an email?

    Hi Marlene,

Many thanks for installing Affiliates Enterprise as your affiliate marketing tool, we appreciate your choice.

I do get the same results like your description when visiting both URLs, a different menu and duplicated content displayed. What are your settings when there is a URL parameter present? Are you using any kind of redirections, through a plugin or directly using rules in .htaccess? Are there any security or caching plugins installed that have special setups when URL parameters are used?

We can check this further if you provide us with temporary admin access to your Dashboard and FTP access to your hosting server. If this is not possible on your live site, then you should create a staging copy and allow us to have a look there. We need to review if any of the above applies, switch themes, disable plugins selectively and at the same time enable WP debugging in case there is something wrong at the moment that we are not aware of. You may send the credentials to george at itthinx dot com and mention this topic to the mail subject.

    Kind regards,
    George
