Unable to add a Group to the User Edit screen

Posted in

The text input where the Groups section can be located and added to the User’s Profile on the User Edit screen is only 10px wide, and it doesn’t function. I’ve also looked at the source code of my page and it’s pulling the selectize script and CSS from jsdelivr and there’s no indication it’s being pulled in from the Groups plugin. It’s possible that there’s a plugin or function conflict, but I’m not pulling that in on anything I can see from my code or the plugins. The functionality of ADDING the User to a group works fine from the purchase side of my WooCommerce site and my functions.php code, but manually adding the User to a Group does not function.

Thank you!

Hi Eugen, were you able to figure this out? It’s a very important part of our website. Thank you.

      Hi Scott,

I trust the weekend is starting great!

I am super sorry for the delayed response. I can’t apply some styles to the site due to the error logs from: plugins/woocommerce-wishlists-extension.

Please disable the plugin or disable errors display logs on https://dev.backtoyou.org/ so I can have access to the site.

Again I must apologize for the delayed response and I look forward to helping you resolve the issue.

      Warm regards,
      Eugen.

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for creating the account. And yes, it is a style issue. I’ll look into this and share my findings.

    Warm regards,
    Eugen.

Hi Eugen, I have created an admin account at https://dev.backtoyou.org/wp-admin/

You can perform a forgot password with your email address as your username.

Actually, I can see it’s working, but I didn’t notice it because the choices are NOT in a dropdown or text field. Same on the All Users page near the filters. I think it’s more of a style issue than a functional issue. Perhaps the style is being left out somehow. And to remove the User from a Group it’s just a small underlined x so I didn’t think that was part of the removal process. Again, maybe a style issue.

    Thx for looking into this.
