Aff Calculation aboslutely incorrect

Posted in

We’re in the middle of a massive 5 day sale. Customer buys the course on another site, are given a coupon. That site is using our Affiliate Pro generated affiliate code to link them over to us.

on our site, they enter the coupon and pay zero

we’ve had 2400 new memberships with that coupon

affiliate is being awarded a commission on a zero priced product.

it comes and goes. I can look through a list of her referrals and see zero’s in a row, and then a commission, couple of z eros and another commission, followed by a bunch more zeros before another commssion.

they’re all zero priced sales, but some are being awarded a commission

    correct. I understand that.

of these 4000 new orders over the past 4 days, they’ve all been for the same product using the same coupon that gives them 100% off the price of the product, and applied before tax is calculated.

Results in no tax being charged and a final price of zero.

The source of these new people are all from the same link, resulting in mostly $0 commissions.

    but not all

currently over the past 4 days with no money being charged or raised on our end, the report is showing a payout of $2500 (and climbing)

    that got my attention obviously.

so I looked, and yes, there are a bunch of the referrals where she earns a $45 commission on an order that was charged $0

so… some do and some dont.

Please expand details in Affiliates->Referrals to see the order total based in commissions.
You can send us dashboard admin access to support at itthinx dot com (please indicate this topic and a referral id in the email).
      cheers

    Hi,
the commissions are calculated based on the net order amount. If your order amount includes taxes and shipping, the commission is calculated based on the net order amount with these deducted. So the commissions are calculated after discounts.
    cheers
