It took me a while to get back to this. I updated the wp-config file, and uploaded debug.log to wp-content.
When I download debug.log it is an empty file. What next?
PS – how do I get back to my support ticket to add additional comments?

You can always post a new topic, like you did that’s ok.
As for the error with updates, there is a new version of the plugin released, so i would suggest you to update your plugin.
In the new version, all your selected filters would be selected when you revisit Affiliates>Manage Affiliates.
For the coupons, in order for a coupon to record a referral, the Affiliates Coupons plugin should be used.
