Paying to affiliates

Posted in

1) I wish to pay to affiliates. I read this link https://www.itthinx.com/documentation/affiliates/affiliate-program-management/managing-affiliates/editing-an-affiliate/adding-affiliate-attributes/adding-a-paypal-email-address/

however I have to ask them their paypal email address and to add manually that field. That’s cumbersome. Why they can’t do it themselves?

2) You forum is very confusing. I have not figured out how to continue a conversation, there is not a reply button!

Sure I understand, no problem 🙂 That’s why I’m asking to indicate what area specifically you need help with. If you can point us to the section from the Documentation and open a new topic, that would be easier to help you with.

      Hi,

Please post a new topic with a specific question (you can post several topics if needed). This topic is unrelated and please indicate a specific documentation page that you need help with and what you are trying to achieve and we’ll be very happy to help you.

      Cheers

If an affiliate fails to provide their paypal information before the day I submit the mass payment what happens to their earnings? Are the funds sent to their registration email or is the left unprocessed?

    • kento September 30, 2014 at 12:27 pm #

Hi Jerry, the registration email is taken as the default when the mass payment file is generated. That means that unless you allow them to indicate a different PayPal email, that one is taken by default.

Almost completely set up and ready to launch. One quick question, how to I add the field for my affiliates to input their tax id or social security information for tax purposes

Is it possible to add the edit_attributes=”paypal_email” function to the affiliate registration page?

Hi Jerry, no currently not, but you can have it on an affiliate profile page as shown here.

    Hi,
1.- you can edit the affiliates profile using [affiliates_affiliate_profile /] shortcode, for example:
    [affiliates_affiliate_profile show_attributes="paypal_email" edit_attributes="paypal_email" /]
2.- when a topic is solved normally closes.
    cheers
