Track Visits and Grant Commissions with Affiliates

Affiliates plugin can track visits to your site and grant commissions when an action is completed. This whole process of tracking visits and granting commissions depends mainly on the affiliate cookie which:

  1. Notifies the system that a new visitor has been referred
  2. Identifies the referring affiliate for that visit

This cookie is stored automatically in the client’s browser whenever a visitor comes to your site following an affiliate link. Once an action is completed, ie a sale or a form submission, the referring affiliate will get a commission based on the settings used for that action.

These actions are tracked by plugin Integrations, for example referred sales are monitored by Affiliates WooCommmerce Light Integration, and statistical data involved for these visits and referrals are available in the plugin Reports.

Keeping all the above in mind, one can track visits and referrals on their WordPress site easily, as requested in the following community support topic:

using either the free or one of the premium versions of Affiliates plugin.
