With the Groups Gravity Forms Plugin is it possible to assign a user to a group based on a field they select on a from set up with Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On? Or can you only assign to the users to the same group on user registration?

Apologies, I should have been more specific on my previous reply.
There are two options for Group assignments on new registrations.
1. When you have predefined the group(s) to add newly-registered users, they will be added regardless of whether you need to approve the registration or not.
2. When the user selects the group to be added upon registration, then the registration approval of Gravity Forms should be disabled.

As for your question you can go both ways, either set the group automatically or let the users select it from a dropdown. Please note, that in any of these cases, make sure to disable the option Enable user activation for this registration form which is located in the form Settings, under User Registration when you edit the registration feed.

So to confirm, user registration forms that require manual admin activation approval via Gravity Forms, will not be able to use the `Add users who submit this form to groups based on a form field?` option?
Are there any other work arounds for this, other than disabling the option Enable user activation?
