Hi,

WordPress shows updates for Affiliates Pro and Affiliates Gravity Forms Integration, but when updateing an error occurs:

An error occurred while updating Affiliates Pro: Update package not available.
An error occurred while updating Affiliates Gravity Forms Integration: Update package not available.

The update for Affiliates Events Manager worked fine!

Cheers
Rudolf

By the way, if you would like to use the new dashboard as the affiliate area (I recommend it), you can replace the existing page content with the old shortcodes and simply put this one on the Partnerbereich page:

    [affiliates_dashboard]

… along with any additional information you might want to provide there. You also have this available as a block. Alternatively, individual sections can be used, but I’d first recommend to try out the full dashboard as it’s well integrated including login and registration.

The documentation has a few new sections about the dashboard:

    Dashboard Blocks
    Dashboard Shortcodes

    Cheers!

    Hi Rudolf,

The service key on the site had an extra character added so the server wasn’t able to authenticate the system. We’ve corrected the service key and now the automatic update appears as expected.

We should make note of that to make sure that the updater informs about an incorrect service key. Many thanks for your patience, this should work now. We’ll try to run the update in a minute on the demo site to make sure it works correctly.

    Cheers

    Hi Denitsa,

I have disabled all plugins except Affiliates Pro (Version 3.0.1) and Itthinx Updates (Version 1.2.0) because otherwise there are no updates listed.
I still get “An error occurred while updating Affiliates Pro: Update package not available”, and it looks like even no download is starting.

    Cheers,
    Rudi

      Hi Rudi,

Assuming that the service key you have set on the site is correct, we’ll need to check the actual communication between the site and our servers, to see why this is happening. Can you please forward temporary admin and FTP credentials to help at itthinx dot com and we’ll check and try to fix it for you?

      Cheers

        Hi Kento,
i just sent You the login credentials for my test-site demo.fxxxx.xxx.
On this site I normally test all plugin updates before updating on my life site.
        Best regards
        Rudi

    Hello Rudolf,
That certainly is a rather strange behavior, looks like a possible plugin conflict is at play. Do you have the opportunity to try deactivating all other plugins and then try updating again?
It is strongly advised to make a backup of your install beforehand.
    Cheers,
    Denitsa
