Affilate Codes

Posted in

I use the pro affiliate feature and I want my affiliates to be able to use their codes but when they are logged in, they can’t use them. I told a girl today to use a different email and then she was able to use her code. How do I change this feature so that my affilates can use their own codes?

    Hi Giovanna,

Yes it does makes sense now.
You should go to Affiliates > Settings, under Referrals tab and enable the option to Allow auto-coupons.

    Kind regards,
    George

I allow my affiliates to use their coupon codes to buy products from my store. When they login and try to purchase a product they can’t use their discount code that are registered to their login email. It says invalid. When they logout and shop as a guest, it allows them to use their code. I need them to be able to use their coupon code when they are logged in to their accounts. Does that make sense?

    Hi Giovanna,

Can you give some more clues on your issue? What happens when an affiliate logs in?
Your affiliates cannot login to the Affiliate Area page, or when they login they can’t see anything on that page? In case you missed it an Affiliate Area page is used as the affiliates’ dashboard and can be generated through your WP Dashboard under Affiliates > Settings, under Pages tab.
Also, for plugin versions equal or greater than 2.16.0, affiliate status feature has been added. What status do you use for new affiliates? If your new registrations are pending, then they won’t be able to access their data/info in the Affiliate Area page. This feature can be set in Affiliates > Settings, under Registration tab. Pending affiliates must be manually approved by the site admin and whenever a pending affiliate tries to login to the Affiliate Area page, they will see the message that their account is pending approval.
FYI, i can have a closer look at your case if you can post a link to your site, enable registrations and i will make a test registration.

    Kind regards,
    George
