Affiliate Commission Payment

Posted in

Hi,

We have run a test to check if the affiliate program is working. So far all is good.
However, we are quite confused with the following:

1. In the affiliate log in page, it is stated that his referral amount or earning has already been paid.
1a. May we know where is this being paid to?
1b. Is this payment is done manually? (transferred to his bank account)

2. From our dashboard Affiliates > manages Affiliates, under the referral amount, the amount status is approved.
Our question is: if we were to made manual transfer to the affiliates, how do we keep tracks when payment has been made or not?

we hope our questions are clear enough. thank you

    Hi there,

Regarding affiliates payments you can process them manually, but first allow me a brief description of the process.
When a referral is recorded, it can be either Pending or Accepted depending on the Default referral status setting you use in Affiliates > Settings > Referrals(tab).
Then, whenever you decide to transfer the funds to your affiliates, you can go to Affiliates > Totals, review and filter the amounts rendered and then decide which referrals should be marked as Closed(paid). This is only a status label to help you distinguish the referrals that have been paid, since the actual fund transfer should be processed manually. To help you further with the payments, you can export a Mass Payment file that contains a list of recipients and amounts which can be imported and used in payment processors that support bulk payments.

As for the referrals that appear as Paid in the Affiliates Dashboard – Earnings section, these are the referrals that have been marked as Closed in Affiliates > Totals.
