Affiliate Enterprise, Groups & Gravity Forms

I actually have Affiliates Pro, Affiliates Products, Affiliates Enterprise & Groups, trying to find the right combination to accomplish the task.

I have a membership site & need to separate groups enough to make sure the system isn’t PAYING out referral commissions for FREE SUBSCRIBERS.

Affiliates should only be paid for actual “Paying” new member signups. I have looked very closely at the “Gravity Forms” plugin, hoping this will do the trick. I was just about to click the purchase link, when I saw a notice that it is not compatible with WordPress.com hosted sites.

I’m not sure if that includes my site hosted by “GoDaddy” they have a “Managed WordPress” option that works real well for me. will the Gravity Forms work within this environment/ the “Groups” part seems to be working okay, although it is not completely set up as yet.

Do you have ANY ideas on how I can get this set up and running smoothly, am I invested in to many programs making it more complicated then need be?

Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much,

    Hi Michael,

    You are welcome. 🙂
So, the s2members implementation is something similar to Groups Paypal.
If you choose Groups WooCommerce Subscriptions or Groups Paypal, s2members won’t be viable, because they two totally different systems.
The first of the pros that comes to mind, since you also have Affiliates plugins, is that you can sell subscriptions via an affiliate program as well. Still though the best choise is your own personal choise( testing with a sale use case).

    Kind regards,
    George

Thank you for your response, I appreciate your time & insights.

I was wondering, if I go with the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin & sold my memberships through the WooCommerce shopping cart, what will happen with the settings already in place for the membership plugin I use, s2members?

It is integrated with WooCommerce shopping cart & both are configured to my paypal account, but s2Member uses a “Sign up page” that holds PayPal buttons for each membership option, doesn’t go through the WooCommerce Cart.

Will all the s2 members settings & features still be viable with the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin activated? Or do I need to rebuild the membership???

Again I appreciate any insights & advise you can share, this is all fairly Greek to me, but doing my best>

    Blessings
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I looked at the Managed WordPress at Godaddy and it is a self-hosted installation but has more features to make the owner’s life easier with WordPress, so you are ok with that and Gravity Forms, or any other plugin you prefer to install.

Theoretically speaking, your idea sounds right. Gravity Forms would cover what you’re planning to do. My suggestion would be to try it in action in order to understand better how it works and if it will cover any/possible future needs. Other options would be to use Groups WooCommerce Subscriptions so that you can sell subscriptions as a product.

    Kind regards,
    George
