Attaching form in Auto responder

Posted in

Hello –
1: How does one attach a form to the auto responder when affiliates register. I do not want a simple email – I wish the response to affiliates and all communications to them be on my form that identifies my website and logo.
2: When testing an affiliate sign up and they get the link to access the affiliate section on my website it takes them to the home page. I am expecting for them to be able to view their affiliate activity and registration. Why are the affiliates added with all my other users. Is there not a separate affiliate users section?

thanks and regards,
Leon

    Hi Leon,
1.- If you want to extend the notification system, you could disable the notifications, and using the ‘affiliates_added_affiliate’ filter, create your custom solution.
    2.- You can have:
    – Affiliates who are wordpress users. These users can login to the website, and visit the affiliate-area page where they can see their data.
    – Affiliates who are not wordpress users. This type of affiliate are created from the dashboard (if you don’t indicate an username). These affiliates can not access to the website. Usually these affiliates are created for testing or for the website admins.
If you want to organizer your affiliates users into a role, you can use the affiliates-role plugin.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
