Please have a look at Groups 404 Redirect free plugin.
Whenever a user tries to access restricted content will be redirected to the option you choose. For example you can redirect non-priviledged users to a page notifying them about how they can become members.
So far so good. Could be the Chat plugin that’s the culprit. I do have a question for you though. Is it possible to change the test people read when they try to access a restricted post? I noticed today when using a test user I created to check my blog on WP’s reader app that the restricted posts still show excerpts but when I clicked I got the OOPS not found message.
I don’t think I can stop them from showing in reader but can I change the message some to indicate private content?
I would say no, we haven’t got such user reports so far.
If though you notice anything unusual, please let me know so that we can check it too.
In such cases, you will notice an unusual behavior and normally something will be logged in the debug.log.
Kind regards,
George
