I’ve purchased a number of plugins for Groups as I really think it is the best think since sliced bread. Fantastic work, please do keep it up.
Now, I’m building an ecommerce with an active community so lots of users will apply for groups, we then review them and add them to the actual group they wanted to go into, a workaround you’ve suggested here, a while back: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/apply-to-user-group-moderation-needed/
Now, with the notification plugin, I would like to be able to exclude certain groups from sending any notifications, namely the inbetween-stage groups because:
– I would need to send custom content in the notifiation saying thanks for signing up, your application will be reviewed and so forth
Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, such a customisation on a group level is not impossible, leaving me craving for a simple:
– Exclude group ID’s (comma separated) from sending any notifications.
Thanks for your consideration and have a great day,
When accessing this page, I only get a white screen:
You are welcome Sven 🙂
Sounds fantastic, thank you!
Thanks a lot. We appreciate your feedback and i’m pretty glad you find our plugins useful.
The feature you request sounds interesting. I will have a look at Groups Notifications and check if and how we could add a groups restriction option for the admin to choose which groups to notify and which not. I suppose the option for notifying the Registered group members on top of the Settings page is similar to what you need but you want to have the option to choose between all the groups available.
I will notify you with a comment once there is an update on this.
