Groups File Access update took my site down

After uploading the latest version of gfa – I activated the plugin and the site went down. I got help via the server tech support (they deactivated all groups plug-ins), and they send me the error logs. Should I send them to you?
I just bought the upgrade and I need a little help to understand whether or not gfa is viable for the site any more.

    Hi Rena,

Thanks for sharing your log, I had a look and the most important point that is obvious in the log entries is that you have two different installations of Groups File Access on your site.

Please go to your hosting server and under wp-content/plugins, make sure to delete both folders, groups-file-access and groups-file-access-2. Then from your WordPress Dashboard proceed normally and upload/install Groups File Access plugin using the plugin zip file.

If your issue persists, then it would be better to create a staging clone and provide temp admin access to it, using my email for this admin account.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Rena,

Yes please you may send a copy of your logs to george at itthinx dot com.

Also, once you forward the logs, it would also be useful to prepare a staging clone where we can check the situation.

    Kind regards,
    George
