Referrals not working!!!

Posted in

Hey Team,

This referral is still not linking.
As per

Manually linking a referral

I added the referral on it and all the future subscription billings are not coming into the affiliates commission!

This is a big problem as I dont want to be doing this manually!

Please help fix this asap and get it linked correctly. This was the main reason I purchased this addin.

    Hey Leon, Happy New Year!

Good to hear that, you can safely delete from your installation the plugin I recommended.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Leon,

Please try the following simple plugin I created especially for this case. You may download the zip file if you follow this link and then install it on your site as any other plugin.

Once you install and activate it then simply deactivate it again, a new referral will be added automatically on activation for the data you provided and no further action is needed. After deactivation visit your Affiliates > Referral and check if a referral exists with that data, in which case you can also delete the plugin from your installation. It should do the trick and record a referral for the original subscription order and trigger the rest of referrals for the recurrent orders.

Please also keep in mind that we will be on holidays until the 4th of January where we will be available again to provide assistance if necessary.

    Kind regards,
    George

Looks like that has worked correctly now!

      Have a great new year

    Hi Leon,

Thanks for the follow-up on this.
In this case we need to programmatically add the first referral that should be recorded for the affiliate.
Please provide me the affiliate id, the order id for the original subscription ( when the subscription initialized ), the price for that subscription and the order total and finally the amount of commission you wish your affiliate to get.

    Kind regards,
    George

      Sure,
I did try doing that in the add a referral based on when i submitted the last support request.

      Affiliate ID: 3
      OrderID: 4531 (parent order)
$0 total as it started with a free trial.
Subscription amoutn changes each month, most recent was GBP: 491.53
Affiliate rate is 10%, so GBP:49.15 for that order.

    Yes it is all enabled.
As mentioned in the previous post, I need to link this one manually. Which is not working!
All renewals since the manual linking are not generating an affiliate commission!

Ones that have automatically link are working correctly.
Please assist. Need to fix it up for this user so they get their commission.

    Hi Leon,

Welcome back to our support forum and sorry to hear you have issues with your referrals.
Please make sure to install the latest versions for Affiliates Pro and Affiliates WooCommerce integration, then in Affiliates > WooCommerce Integration check if the option for recurring referrals is enabled and there is at least one referral recorded for that subscription which is not rejected.

    Kind regards,
    George
