Hi,
I want to be able to give my affiliates set amounts of commission (rather than a percentage) for different products in my store, so:
sale of t-shirt gets affiliate £5
sale of sweater gets affiliate £10
sale of gym bag gets affiliate £15 ….and so on.
Can you tell me how to set each of the separate product referral rates, and do so as fee amounts like the above (and not as a percentage)?
I tried setting the rate in the product>product data>affiliates option in WooCommerce but all sales are still taking the Default referral calculation value of £10.
Please let me know how I can fix this.

By the way I just noticed in Antonio’s Jan. 30th comment it shows 2,5 vs 2.5 is the comma between the numbers instead of the decimal period make the difference?
Uses dot instead of comma.

I read and applied everything in the comments to try to achieve affiliate payouts base on dollar amount and NOT percentage. That also was imputed in the products affiliate field. For example I added to two products one 5.0 and the other 3.74 meaning the affiliate will get paid out $8.74. However when it was completed their commission was saying over $318. I’ve been checking how that could add up and what needs to be changed but I can’t figure it out. Please help! Thanks!

Oh okay so I had that wrong however when I go to the settings tab I don’t have that option. And I have already installed the github plugin. So what do I do then?

Can you confirm these setting are correct for the following instance:
Base Commission Rate – 30%
Special manual commission rate 1 (assigned per user) – 50% – Does this need to change from Referral Rate to something else?
Special manual commission rate 2 (assigned per user) – 75% – Does this need to change from Referral Rate to something else?
Product 1 Rate – 30 – 75%
Product 2 Rate – 0%
Also, when I try to set referral amount method it says Invalid Data.

The error from “Refferal Amount Method Error.jpg” is because it expects a valid signature of a referral amount method (such as
Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rates), this would be used if you do not use that method in general, but want it applied to a specific affiliate, which doesn’t seems to be the case. The rest looks fine.Hi,

If you need to use amount instead of rates, you can use Custom Method::Product Amount (be sure to select this method on Affiliates->settings)

Thanks for the above info it helped me completed the configure part. Now the second part with amount is were I’m having a issue with. I too want to pay affiliates by amount and not percent.
So I clicked on the above link for the Custom Method::Product Amount and it takes me to GitHub, so do I need to add the php file I see there somewhere in my site so I can pay by dollar amount? If so where?
Also since I configured it to Default referral calculation value : Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rates should I change it to the other option that says Affiliates_Referral::example_referral_amount_method?

Hi,
on Github in right sidebar you have a “ZIP download” button. This is a plugin.
After install and activate select Custom Method::Product Amount on Affiliate->Settings.
If you set for example 2,5 in tab Affiliates in product’s page, then $2,5 will be the commission.
