Integration with WooCommerce

Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce fully automates affiliate commissions for sales and provides additional WooCommerce-specific options.

NEW Coupons supported : Assign coupon codes to affiliates to credit them with sales commissions.

Demos

This video shows Affiliates Pro and WooCommerce in action: details of the plugins installed and setup, an example purchase made through an affiliate link (banner) and the resulting referral linked to the order.

Although the following video was recorded with Affiliates Pro for Jigoshop, it also applies to Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce.

The video shows three main interactions for customers, admins and affiliates:

  • how a customer makes a purchase through an affiliate link
  • how an admin sees referrals and relates them to orders
  • and how an affiliate sees an overview of his performance

In addition to what is shown in the video, all features of the Affiliates Pro plugin are available.

Documentation

After following the steps to install the integration pack, please refer to the documentation available here: Affiliates Plugins Documentation.

Free integration

You can also download the Affiliates WooCommerce Integration Light plugin which provides a free alternative.

Not sure how to make a contribution, but I am quite interested in getting a discount on the pro vs. when it is released

    Hi,
    I have a few questions:
    1. The comissions appear on Woocommerce Dashboard?
    2. Affiliates can track their traffic, commisions?
    3. When the commisions are paid, instantly or when an administrator aproves them and sends them?
    4. Also the ideea above in which members can be affiliates is going to be integrated or exists?

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Does your affiliate plugin work well with woo ecommerce Commission King?

    Thank you

  • Thank you. I will give it a try.

  • Hi Kento,

I don’t want to use PayPal mass payments, since I’ll be paying affiliates every 15 days AND I’ll also take CC payments using 2Checkout.com

    That said:

    1) Will affiliates be able to see how much have they earned each month?
    2) Will they be able to see how much was already paid to them and how much is pending, per month, or given date range?

    Thank you very much,

    Manuel

    • Of course you can use other options than PayPal, what Affiliates Pro provides is the ability to generate the mass payments file and that is obviously convenient. But you can use the data provided to make payments through any processor. Regarding 1) Yes, 2) Yes – actually they can filter their results for any given date range.

    Hello,

I purchased Affiliates Pro and did the WooCommerce integration. When a customer checks out using paypal, it’s var_dump-ing their email address and the order string, causing the site to never load the paypal payment page.

Is this the correct place to request support regarding this? Thank you for the great plugin!

    -R

  • Rami

    Kento,

Great, thank you; I will send wp admin details via your contact page now :)

    • Thanks Rami, I’ve made a test purchase and got to the PayPal payment screen without problems. Also the referral for the order #4060 has been created correctly, as well as other referrals which have been recorded for previous orders. Whatever you observed is not related to Affiliates Pro or the integration. One thing though, the checkout and cart screens look rather ‘unthemed’ yet … but other than that it works nicely.

  • Rami

Awesome, I’m seeing the same thing. WooCommerce was working on the issue, maybe they fixed it :) Thank you!

  • Rami

    Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to add:

    1. Clickthrough data that did not generate sales, so the affiliate can see if people are going to the site (but not making purchases)

    2. CTR – click through rate

    3. Are there any fancy charts or graphs that I can integrate, or that are already integrated and usable via shortcode?

    Thank you again!

    • Hi Rami,
Regarding 1, yes, actually you can use several options to show stats including hit and visit counts, take a look at the documentation subsections here.
For 2, you can show them the conversion ratio (see above) but the actual CTR based on visits to the affiliate’s site is not available (yet).
There is work being done on including charts for affiliates to see on the frond end for the next release of Affiliates Pro (this is for 3).

  • Rami

    Awesome response, Thank you!

  • Rami

    Kento,

is it possible to customize the affiliate id via a new attribute, or use the username? A client is *really* wanting this functionality.
    So instead of ?affiliates=24 it’d be ?affiliates=username
    Thank you

  • Rami

Thank you, I look forward to that update!

  • NeedSomeHelp

    Hello,

I recently purchased and installed your plugin Affiliates Pro WooCommerce Integration Pack. I’ve looked everywhere and do not see a place for the affiliate to enter their Paypal email address.

Is their sign up email address assumed to be the same as their PayPal address or is there another field I just haven’t located yet?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks

    • You can define the affiliate’s PayPal email address as documented here but unless the affiliate’s PayPal email address is different than the affiliate’s email address you don’t need to define it explicitly – if you just want it to appear when generating the PayPal mass payment file, the affiliate’s email address is used unless the PayPal one is added as an attribute.

      • sbernado

How do I allow affiliates to add their own PayPal address? The whole process could be streamlined if the affiliate could add their own PayPal email address? Having them email me that information is confusing and time consuming. I hope you create a way for users to manage enter and manage this information within their account. Thank you! – Scott

        • Sure, you can already do that, please refer to the this section in the documentation.

          • Thank you for your response. I did not get an email notice that you responded, so I apologize for the delay. Here is the code I am using per the instructions from the page your provided:

            [affiliates_affiliate_profile edit_name="true" edit_email="true" edit_attributes="paypal_email" /]

All that comes up on my new profile page is my name (first & last) and email address, but both are uneditable.

Can you help me? Not sure what I am missing here :)

            Thanks – Scott

          • I figured out the issue. When I copy / pasted the code from your site, i should have pasted it into the Text editor, versus visual. Your code is using some italics () tags and that was breaking the shortcode. All is working now :) Thanks – Scott

          • Thanks for following up on that :)

  • NeedSomeHelp

    Hello,

After looking into the documentation further I have figured out how to add attributes to the individual affiliates.

My question is how can I make the PayPal email address field apart of normal registration so that I do not have to add an attribute(paypal) for every single affiliate.

    Thanks

    • Thanks for taking the time to sort it out by yourself, I just got to answer your previous comment :)
Although the affiliate registration form does not provide an explicit option, would it be an option to tell your affiliates to sign up with their PayPal email address? If not, they can also edit their profile and provide it there. You can set up an affiliate profile page that allows them to edit their details, including their PayPal email address. The shortcode is documented on this page, an example usage would be [affiliates_affiliate_profile show_attributes="paypal_email" edit_attributes="paypal_email"].

    Hi.

    1. If I buy Affiliate Pro Woocommerce Integration + Affiliate Pro S2Member Integration will I have two different admin panels or will it all be blended inside one panel?
    2. Is there any discount for buying two plugins at once?
    3. Why SUSDL (comparing to all other Woo extensions)?
    4. Does SUSDL also applies for WP Multisite? For example, I will have a system with lots of child sites so visitors can choose to which site they want to signup to (become members). All those subsites are part of the same story? Will I have to pay for all those subsites. If I do than this is the most expensive affiliate plugin out there. Even more expensive than iDev Affiliate software. I mean, if S2Member and Woo allow me to use their plugin on all subdomains then I would expect to have the same privilege with any extension. Yeah, I know, you make the rules around here :)

    • Everything’s handled under the Affiliates menu. Have you considered using the free version? It features more than enough for when you’re just starting and when your business volume justifies it, you can then benefit from the features that Pro offers.

  • Rami

    Kento,

Is it possible to customize affiliates pro to work with the WooCommerce coupon codes? Thank you

  • Oscar

    Hi Kento,

This seems great, but only if I can use it paired with coupon codes, that is exactly what I’m looking for. I see you say you’re working on that. Any idea when it will be finished?

Make that happen and we got a deal :)

  • Martin

    Hi Kento,

I got a problem with my affiliates area: http://www.phonejoy.us/affiliates/

When you try to register I just get a:

ERROR: This username is already registered, please choose another one.
ERROR: This email is already registered, please choose another one.

No matter what user name I have chosen. I don’t know it used to work before, but it somehow stopped working, not sure why.

Also, could you add classes to the registration form, otherwise I can’t really customize it without editing the shortcode scripts.

    Hope you can help,
    Martin

    • Martin

I just checked, the registration actually goes through. But the error is not that great. Also is there an Email template? Or would I have to edit the script for that as well?

      • I did a couple of test registrations as well and get the same thing. The registration goes through but the error is displayed. Let me know about the plugins or if you want to grant access to take a look at the back end that would be fine as well. The email is the standard sent by WordPress, it’s not controlled by the Affiliates Pro plugin. If you want to change it, you should be able to find a plugin that allows to customize the standard registration email sent by WordPress.

    • Hi Martin, It might be that something else is interfering, what other plugins are active on the site please?
You can style the form and its field quite easily without hacking the scripts (and please don’t because you’ll have to do it over and again after updates): The form’s class is affiliates-registration-form and the fields can be targeted by their ids.

  • I want an affiliate system which will allow me to specify a fixed amount rather than percentage of the sale. and the amount will vary depending on the product type. Is it possible using affliates woocommerce?
    please let me know…
    thanks

    • Thanks for asking. This is an option that has been requested before and is scheduled for an upcoming release. You can already use a fixed amount per referral and it is possible to use your own custom method to do implement very flexible commission schemes, including any variation on commissions per product, but it’s not yet available as a standard feature in the integration. It won’t take long to be made available though.

  • zets

We downloaded and installed free version with Woocommerce Integration Light. Looks good so far. We’ll probably buy Pro soon.

  • Hey Kento, everything seems to be going well with Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce, but we’ve had a couple of people question us on whether the links work once shared through Facebook and other social media. If someone shares our affiliate link through social media, I assume that Affiliates Pro will still recognize it when clicked? Reply to confirm and thanks.

  • Martin

How do we actually download/receive new versions, Kento?

    - Martin

    • There is a completely new updates section being prepared where you will be able to download new releases. Will be announced very shortly.

  • Colin

I am using the affiliates pro for Woo commerce and all good so far. I have one issue. The email that is sent to new affilates after they sign up on the form provides a link to the wp-admin page rather than to the affiliate login page.

The problem is when they login through wp-admin they are presented with information about shop purchases nothing to do with affiliate info.

Where can I edit this email/set this so that the email provides a link to the affiliate sign in form?

    Many Thanks

    Colin

  • Ty

Hi there! I see you can assign a coupon to an affiliate but can you assign a customer to an affiliate once the coupon or link is used?

    • Hi Ty, if a customer makes a purchase and has visited the affiliate’s link before or is using a coupon that is assigned to an affiliate, the affiliate will get a commission for that purchase. So ‘assigning a customer to an affiliate’ is not technically correct, although in practice – depending on how things are set up – it can be equivalent: through a) zero referral timeout and/or b) non-expiring coupons.

      • Jacob

hi there, i’m looking for just this function to.. the function to assign a user to an affiliate and then be able to say affiliate 1 is going to get 5% of all sale forever (or 2 years if I like) and affiliate 2 will get 20% of all sale made of the user assign to that affiliate.

How can i do that with you plugin and do I need the pro version ?

        Thanks
        Jacob

        • antonio

          Hi Jacob,
there isn’t “permanent affiliates”, as kento says, it can be equivalent: through
          a) for example 365×2 = 730 days referral timeout (Affiliates->Options) and/or
          b) non-expiring coupons.

          cheers

  • Marc Revue

Hi,I’m about to purchase the woocommerce integration however I have a query.Suppose a sale is made and affiliate commission is tracked, later the client asked for refund and in woocommerce the status of the order is changed from completed to refunded then would it get reflected in affiliate and commission is deducted back?
Also the commission is reflected the moment payment is completed or it would wait till we change the status of the order to “completed”?
    Kindly lemme know.
    Many thanks in advance

    • Hi Marc,
In case an order is refunded, the status of the referral reflecting the affiliate’s commission would automatically change to ‘Rejected’.
The referral is accepted automatically when the order is completed, so you don’t need to manually adjust it.
      Cheers

  • fjufirefox

    dear

    i buy the software
    where can download it?

    thanks

  • Hello,

I have buy Affiliat Pro + Woo commerce integration, no problem for the moment, thank you.

    I have a question:
With Affiliat Pro, i can have a different referral calculation by product ?

    Thanks in advance

    * Sorry for my bad english

    best regards

    • Hi Olivier,

Currently there is no direct way of assigning a commission rate to a specific product although I’m considering adding the option because it has been asked for several times now. It can be done through a custom method though, this would involve iterating over the products in the order and checking if a rate should apply, but it would require someone to code that custom method. An example is shown here.

      Cheers

      • What I have done is to make the product commission rate “1″ (i.e. 100 %). And so instead of saying commission = $50 I say that “Total Sales Generated” = $500 and then would go and manually figure out the commissions for each product (e.g. some at 3 % and some at 15 %). You can change the wording according to the manual.

Am just experimenting with this “hack” but perhaps it might help in the short term until there is a commission by product.

        • This feature (rates per product) is available since quite some time now in the Affiliates Pro fro WooCommerce integration, is that the one you are using currently? Have a look at the section Affiliates > WooCommerce Integration, you should see the options there. If not, you’ll need to update.

          • Thanks Kento,

I am currently using the free plugin to test the whole process but was having one main issue as the registration email is not being sent.

            I read through: http://www.itthinx.com/topic/no-password-field-on-registration/
and installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin and know that I am getting emails from WordPress that tell me a new user has registered (so I know the platform is able to send mails) but the actual username/password is not sent to the user and can not figure it out (http://webpreneuracademy.com/affiliate-area).

I am just trying to ensure both the free & pro plugins work as I teach this solution to thousands of students and moving over from shopify/bigcommerce type platforms as I was being asked for more economical ecommerce solutions – so ideally I can recommend the free plugin to those on a budget to try out and the paid plugin for those that want a better solution.

Once free plugin is working I will also upgrade to the pro as I do need the commissions by product feature (and now that I can see you put in a lot of time on support etc you deserve to get paid!).

I am assuming that even if I upgrade to pro that problem of emails not being sent to new registrations will not be solved?

Also one final question is this solution scalable – my concern is that emails to thousands of affiliates might not scale or you feel comfortable that bigger sites also have affiliates working without issues?

            Thanks,

            Amir

          • Hi Amir,

I’ve registered a test account and got the username/password email right away (affiliate id 21), maybe they’re landing in the spam/junk folder on your side?

Regarding large deployments, the plugin is capable of handling “unlimited” affiliates – both the free and premium versions, as long as the supporting infrastructure is appropriate. It’s not going to be the weakest link in the chain ;)

            Cheers

  • Arturol

    HI!
I just have purchased Affiliate Pro for Woocommerce and I wonder if affiliates must have an internet site to take part of this or anybody withoug a website can do it? Does this work throug social media as well like facebook, Twitter, Google ect.?
    Thanks

    • Yeah it does work that way as well. Simply by using the affiliate links or the discount codes that are assigned to affiliates, the affiliates can publish these on social media and get rewarded without the need for their own site.

  • Hey Kento, we’re starting to see some instances where two different affiliates are definitely getting credit for the same sale. Any idea what’s causing that or how to correct. It’s obviously a big problem… Thanks in advance for your help. FYI, we’re using Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce.

    • Hi Brad, this would only happen when two or more coupon codes from different affiliates were applied to the same order. In that case the commissions are split and it’s supposed to be that way. Can that be the case?

      • I don’t think that would be possible… too much of a bizarre coincidence. What’s also weird is that under “Visits & Referrals” it gives credit to two different affiliates, but under “Referrals” it clearly just gives the credit to only one of the affiliates.

        • Can you provide some detailed screenshots for these please or grant access to have a look? In any case, if you have several discount codes that can be applied on an order and these are related to affiliates, then it will certainly split the commissions – it is designed to be that way.

  • Michael Giles

    Hi Kento,

Great plugin! One quick questions regarding commissions:

Can the affiliate commission be a coupon instead of a monetary commission? We are trying to support a model where the affiliates are regular customers who refer products to their friends and as a reward get coupons to purchase additional products at a discount. (eg: commission = 25% off coupon)

    Thanks,
    Michael

    • Hey Michael,

Basically it’s possible to do that with some appropriate customization.

An OOTB possibility would be to grant discounts to your affiliates based on the accumulated commissions and issue coupon codes for them. So instead of making an affiliate payment, use the totals to create coupon codes that they can use on their purchases.

The first option could be automated but would require some consulting/development, second one is manual with no additional efforts.

I’d say it depends whether the additional effort of making it automated would pay off or you could just handle it manually.

Also I think to grant a % commission based on referral could make it more complicated because you would have to take into account minimum amounts on the referrals etc.

  • Michael Giles

    Hi Kento,

I forgot to mention that we are using WooCommerce. Thanks for the help.

    Best,
    Michael

  • Do you currently have any coupons that I could use? If so, I will purchase now.

  • Michael Giles

    Hi Kento,

Do you have time today to discuss custom requirements?

    Best,
    Michael

  • Moonworks

    Hi,

I’m starting to get there with this now. It’s not complicated, which is always a good thing, it’s just a case of finding the right bit to go where.

Do you have a way that I can have users automatically create an affiliate account when signing up in the usual way?

I noticed that when I signed up to make the purchase, I was also able to create an account for the site.

To be honest, I just want things to be simple, so a user can sign up once, either as a customer or affiliate at first, but it will be simple for customers to become affiliates on a single form.

    • The affiliate registration form is designed to handle that. Visitors who are not registered with the site can join through the form as well as registered users – registered users don’t create an account, they just join the actual affiliate program.

  • marko

Hi! Is it possible for affiliates to use earned comissions directly on checkout when buying from my shop?

    • You could issue discount codes for them based on totals but currently there’s no direct way to do that.

      • Are there any plans for this to be implemented in the future, or preferably, near future? Have a new client that runs an extensive affiliate/licensee network (1000 & counting, each running a unique site built specifically around the promotion of the product.) A large number of the affiliates spend all of their commissions on the product itself though, so they’re actually not interested in payouts, just credit towards their next purchase.

  • Paul

    Hi,

Very nice looking plugin. I have a question before purchase, however.

Is it possible to permanently attach an affiliate to a customer account? For example, the affiliate program we’re considering is for apparel based purchases. Ideally, we want the ability to do something like this:

    - Customer clicks in from affiliate link and completes a purchase (fixed commission amount)
    - Affiliate/referrer is assigned to WooCommerce customer ID/account
    - Customer returns at a later date (lets say within 180 days) without clicking the affiliate link, but the original affiliate is still rewarded for this purchase

    Is this something that’s possible?

    • Basically I’d say this would be possible, the referral timeout setting would have to be set accordingly (e.g. to 180 days, this doesn’t require Affiliates Pro as it’s a standard setting for the Affiliates plugins).

  • Kento,

Very interested in this plugin as it is integrated with the wonderful Woocommerce shopping cart system.

I am also using the subscriptions plugin for Woocommerce as my product is a monthly subscription. Will your plugin work with subscriptions so that affiliates get recurring monthly commissions as monthly subscriptions are processed? I am using the stripe plugin with the subscriptions plugin so my gateway works with subscriptions as well.

If your plugin works with recurring payments… I’m in.

    Rick

  • Hi,
I’m looking for some functionality that was once offered by the Commission King plugin for Woocommerce, which was discontinued for some reason.
I want to pay money to the creator of the product for each sale of the product (let’s say you’re the painter of some artwork, so you will get $10 every time the art sells). So this is like a “permanent afiiliate” which is tied to a specific product, and not to a referral.
It should also support product variations (so for the XL version the artist will get $10, and for the small version $5 etc.)

Will you consider filling the gap that was created when Commission king for off the air?

    • The simple answer is yes. I’ve been asked before if that would be possible and it will be made available either as part of the integration or an additional plugin.

      • is this functionality already available in your plugin? because it is exactly what I need.

BTW Commission King is very much alive and updated regularly but not listed in Woocommerce Extensions directory, for whatever reason, they only sell their woocommerce extension on their own website.

I really don’t know the main differences between your plugin and Commission King, since I want to buy the one that suits me better and offers good support.

        Thanks

        • Hi Mario, the plugin that covers product commissions is Affiliates Products – note that for product variations only a single rate can be specified. As for the differences between that plugin and Commission King, Affiliates Products is designed to integrate with the Affiliates plugins so that you can control payouts to product partners in the same manner as you do with normal affiliates.

  • Mattym

thanks! is there a way to get notified when a new version or plugin comes out?

  • Bruno França

    Hello.
How can I report an error on plugin?

  • Bruno França

    I sent by twitter… that’s ok?

  • HI,
Is there a way to deselect certain woocommerce products from giving a referral commission? For example we want affilaites to get commission for our CDs and books, but not for our vacation packages. Thanks!

    • Hi Aaron,
It can be done through the API when a custom method is used to calculate the referrals, but OOTB you can’t exclude products from being included to compute the referral amount.
      Cheers

  • I have purchased Affiliates Pro with Woocommerce. I am having a few issues as I test it. 1. I have the default referral status set as “Accepted”. However I just placed an order and the affiliate received an email but the referral was not updated to accepted. I had to change it manually. 2. I am not receiving email notifications of referrals. I checked the default email address under Settings then General and it already has the correct email address. Also, my affiliates want to know if their referrals are working. When they log in they can see referrals or payments but not hits. This would be very helpful to affiliates not only to show that the program is working but also if their hits are generating sales or not.

    • Note that the referral status is updated automatically by default, so when an order is not completed, the referral status will usually be pending even if the default status is set to Accepted.
Regarding the emails, if the notifications are enabled and you don’t see them, they probably end up in the junk/spam folder?
Please refer to the documentation to fine-tune your affiliate area (there are several shortcodes that you can add to the affiliate area).

  • dominiknki

    Hi

I purchased Affiliates Pro for Woocommerce today and so far everything works fine except the [affiliates_affiliate_graph] shortcode.

With the standard theme (twentyeleven) it is working but with none of the premium themes that I tried.

I know the file that renders the graph ist “class-affiliates-graph-renderer.php”

I am getting insertet tags in my sourcecode that are causing the following error message(Uncaught Syntax Error:Unexpected token <). Well there mustn't be a tag so i tried to remove the spaces in the file so that there is no tag added.

Well then I am getting the following error message(Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL) between the following 2 code parts.

    $.plot($(“#affiliate-graph-1″),data,options);
    function statsTooltip(x, y, contents){$(‘

    –>ERROR<–

    ‘ + contents + ‘
    ‘).css({

Please give me a small hint or tip what I could try cause I definitely need this to work (only reason for buying Pro).

May this be a autop filter problem?

    Best wishes Dominik

    • It sounds like the themes you are using are messing with how content is rendered when they shouldn’t. Which ones have you tried? Can you post a link to the site where this happens?
Important: If you have modified any code of the Affiliates plugin please install the original version of the plugin first – there is no need to hack any files in Affiliates or Affiliates Pro.

  • I’m busy evaluating the free version, and looking forward to buying the enterprise version which has multi-tiered system, thanks for all your help Kento…

  • sitiosguau

    Hi, mate!

I just bought the pro and woocommerce integration. God work! Until now everthing is working great.

Just one question. How can I translate it? I don’t see any Po file or so…

I’ll translate it to spanish, in case you want to have the translation to add it to the plugin…

    Cheers!

  • sitiosguau

    Hi, Kento!

Now that I have the po files translate them, how can I make them work? I create a folder in the pro folder plugin called “lang” and put there the mo file… Iv’e tried nameing it es_ES.m coz that’s the language in the config.php and also tried with this affiliates-2.1.5.mo, but it’s not pulling any translation…

    can you help me?

    Cheers!

    • For Affiliates Pro you must place the compiled core language file affiliates-es_ES.mo in the folder wp-content/plugins/affiliates-pro/lib/core/languages and the Pro additions also compiled to affiliates-es_ES.mo in wp-content/plugins/affiliates-pro/lib/ext/languages. You can also forward them for inclusion.

  • sitiosguau

    Hi, Man, one more thing…

The registration it’s not working properly, take a look: http://sitiosguau.com/recomienda-sitios-guau-y-gana-dinero/

the most of the times doesn’t do nothing when hiting the sign up button… some other times works, but none email is deliver to the user

    please, help :-)

    thanks

    • Seems to work fine for me, I’ve just tried it. Probably when they don’t get an email, they receive the confirmation in their spam/junk mail folder.

  • Hi there,

I purchased Pro for WooCommerce thinking it would give me the option to add tiered affiliates and maybe a banner area for html downloads but I’m not really seeing any difference from the basic version yet.

Whenever I delete the referral rate from Woocommerce integration lite and insert individual rates for affiliates nothing is carried through to their sales – a sale is still recorded but nothing goes into totals.

I’m also really struggling with setting up the affiliate area, it just doesn’t want to work for me – if you’ve got any online tutorials, that would be great, thanks.

    • Hi Paula,

First thing you should do is take a look at the documentation pages. Regarding the totals, make sure to check the filter settings at the top of the page, the status would normally by Accepted so that only referrals pending payment are included (this is different from the Pending referral status where the payment for the related order has not been received yet). Also, you should disable and remove the light integration plugin and only use the integration plugin that comes with Pro. Please let me know if you have any questions after checking the documentation.

      Cheers

    Hi

I took a look at the plugin and it seems great.

    I still have a few questions :
    - can I integrate clickbank or other affiliate programs in it ?
    - I think I understood that, but to be clear, do affiliates have their own private area in the site dashboard ? (like a regular wp access ?)

    Thanks

    Hi Kento

I am an affiliate, would this plug in work so i can track the number of click throughs from my site to the merchants. I need a plugin that gives me the data and the merchant does not have to add anything to their site.

    Cheers

    Hi

How can I make the shortcode [affiliates_affiliate_stats] to show the product title instead of “Protected: Order – September 18, 2012 @ 05:01 PM”

How can I remove the filter (from until) and the results per page option?

    Kind regards
    Dominik

    • The shortcode isn’t capable of showing the product, you would have to retrieve the order ID from the referral and list the products in the order.
You can hide the filters and pagination by applying display:none; but I would not do that, the results are paginated and you would hide an essential element that allows the user to view the data.

  • Henrik

    Hi,
I tried the light version before purchasing the pro. When I am logged in to wordpress and click on my own link on an external website I still gets commission! It seems wrong that you can get commission by clicking your own link.

Is it possible in pro version that the commission can be used for purchases instead of PayPal payouts?

    • Commissions are credited to affiliates when a visitor has come through an affiliate link, whether the affiliate may get credit when they make a purchase through their own link or not is rather part of the program policy, if you absolutely prohibit your affiliates to purchase through their own links, you will have to control it, or you can allow or even encourage them to purchase through their own links.
Regarding payouts do you mean coupons issued to affiliates?

  • Henrik

Yes, so they ca buy from my shop instead of cash payouts.

    Hi Kento,

Before I purchase the plugin, I just wanted to know if this plugin fits my needs. I will ask you some questions and if you feel this plugin fulfill my requirements let me know and I will more than happy to buy.

I have purchased this theme that supports woo-commerce. http://themeforest.net/item/boutique-shop-responsive-woocommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/3311375

I have a eCommerce site that sells custom items. I need to create an affiliate network for that site. I want these features:

    1. I want to give my affiliate a fixed amount for a successful PayPal payment regardless of the item value. (I don’t want the percentage based commission. I am looking for a fixed commission.)

    2. I want the payment status for all the affiliates to be “pending” by default. Even if the item is purchased successfully using PayPal it should not be marked as “completed”. Because I offer money back guarantee and I need to pay the referral only after the time frame ends, like after 2 days or 10 days. (Got my point here?)

    3. Can affiliate use the link not only on their own website, but also on any other medium like forums, twitter, Facebook etc.,?

    4. Will affiliates have the information about the click through rates, sources from where their visitors visited the site and purchased the item etc.,?

    5. Also affiliated get a fancy link like aff=username like that or its just like aff_id=3?

If you feel that these can be achieved which plugin I need to purchase from your site? (Point 1 and 2 are compulsory)

    Waiting eagerly for the reply.

    Regards,
    Magic Blogger

    • #1 you can assign fixed amounts per affiliate; there is also an extension coming up that allows you to credit affiliates with a % commission on product sales
#2 yes that’s possible, although if you get a lot of referrals at some point you might consider using a payout policy that covers for refunds etc.
      #3 yes
#4 some of it, see the documentation
#5 not OOTB but there’s a plugin for that

  • jimgrant

What is the best way to set up the affiliate link as http://www.abc.com/tjones rather than the provided format of – http://abc.com?associate=1

  • steve

    Hi!

Need to get clarified. Please reply ASAP. I am pretty confused about which plugin to use from you site. You have number of plugins.

    1. I am using woocommerce for WordPress.

    2. I need an affiliate system for my woocommerce site where every affiliate gets a flat rate of say $10 for each successful sale.

Now if an affiliate refers a new person and signs up for an affiliate link, then the one who referred should again get a flat rate of say $5. i.e. If A signs up as an affiliate and if A refers B to make a sign up as an affiliate and if B makes $10 then A should be paid $5. I don’t need percentage commissions here?

Is this possible with your plugin?

    3. Do you have an affiliate link as aff_id=1 something like that or aff=name?

Also which plugin I need to purchase? Is it Affiliate pro for woocommerce or Affiliates Pro WooCommerce Integration Pack or Is it both? Can you explain what does what?

  • steve

    Hi!

Sorry for posting again. Just wanted to know the plugin pays the affiliate based on each item sold or a sale?

i.e. As I told I will pay affiliate a flat rate of $10 for each item. If a customer buyers 2 items, will the affiliate be payed $20 (2 items) or is he payed $10 counted as a single sale?

  • I have purchased Affiliates Pro with Woocommerce integration. Is it possible to attribute a sale to an affiliate either the sale? We have large ticket items and some were manually ordered before the use of the plugin or an order may be occasionally missed being attributed to an affiliate for various reasons.

    Thanks

  • installing affilaites pro for woocommerce on wp3.5 upon activiation i get the following error:

The plugin generated 147 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin

also the following on the config pages:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/affiliates-pro/lib/core/affiliates-admin-options.php on line 213 and defined in /home/site/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

Any help woudl be appreciated..as this is a live site…

Just wondering if you now have this plugin working with repeat commissions for Woo’s Subscriptions extension? Would be real handy :-)

  • furi0usbee

Hello Support- Is there a way to deactivate certain products from participating in the affiliate/referral system, maybe by category, or on a per-product basis? My client has 100 products, but there are about 10 she doesn’t want included in the affiliate program, as the profit margin isn’t that great on those products.

Also, is there a way to set referral rates unique to each product, which will override the default settings?

    Thanks,
    Bryan

    • You can limit coupons assigned to affiliates to certain products, that would be a way of limiting, or you could limit referrals to certain products by using a custom method that iterates over the products and for example checks for a flag on a product.

  • HIVAIDSZW

We just purchased the Affiliates Pro Integration Pack for WooCommerce as an upgrade from the free version. The Affiliate links generated by the plugin in the WordPress backend are formated as such: http://www.mysite.org?affiliates=affiliateID

WE would like the links to be as such: http://www.mysite.org/sub-page?affiliates=affiliateID

I have read how to accomplish this with shortcodes on the front-end, but this does not change the links shown for the affiliates on the back-end. How do I make sure the links on the dashboard also reflect the fact that the affiliate area is on a sub-page rather than the main page?

    • The links shown on the back end are more a convenience for the admin as these would not normally be displayed for the affiliates. You can add a link suggestion for your affiliates in the affiliate area and use the generic form to link to a specific page, where the affiliate ID is appended to the URL.

  • Matt

I applogize for the lengthy comment, your email kept giving me a bounceback error.

I am curious if your Affiliate Pro plugin has all the functionalities I’m in need of before I purchase it.

Here is the workflow of our site:
-A new affiliate account is automatically for a customer on checkout.
-After payment, the customer is redirected to their profile page where they see their unique referral link.
-When they refer someone to make a purchase with their affiliate link, they are credited free shipping on their next transaction. So if they refer 3 customers, they get free shipping on their next 3 transactions.
-At anytime a customer can see how many impressions/referrals they have made on their profile.

So here are the core features I foresee we will need:
-Auto create new affiliate on checkout
-Display unique affiliate link and sharing buttons on profile
-Credit an affiliate after a referral purchase so when their next reoccurring transaction happens the price will be automatically deducted X amount

Please let me know if your plugin can seamlessly satisfy these functions. Feel free to email or call me anytime.

Thank you & looking forward to hearing from you!

    Matt

    • Hi Matt,

Regarding the workflow: you’re using the Affiliates Users plugin which is creating the affiliate account – that would have been my suggestion but you were quicker :) You can use the shortcodes on the user’s account page or link to a specific page if preferred where the affiliate’s details are presented. You can use Peter’s Login Redirect (see Useful Plugins) to redirect users to their account page after they log in.

For the free shipping requirement one solution would be to use a new plugin that is going to be released shortly which allows to issue coupon rewards instead of or along with normal referrals. The current development version (which is not yet publicly available) doesn’t allow to issue coupons for free shipping but I’d be happy to add that option if you want to use it.

Thanks for getting the plugins even before I got a chance to answer your questions :) Please let me know if the above would help, I’d be happy to let you try it out before it is released.

      Cheers

I purchased the Affiliate Pro WooCommerce Extension.

Right now it appears that all affiliates will get a base rate for all store items when an item is purchased via their affiliate link.

I want to set it so that all affiliates are limited to certain product categories and they get the base rate when an item is purchased from those categories. Can this be done?

  • Ruth

    Hello,
    I have a couple of pre-sales questions:

    1) Has the plugin been updated to work with the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension yet?
    2) When creating links to affiliates, is it possible to link to external domains and still have the affiliate sale track properly? Sometimes I run special offers on forums so the affiliate link would need to redirect out of my main site.
    3) Do you have some demo URLs I can take a look at?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    ~Ruth

    • Hi Ruth,
Working on #1 which will be provided with an updated release of the integration shortly.
On #2, you don’t create links to affiliates, you create links to pages on your site that identify the referring affiliate and thus allow to track when sales are made thanks to that affiliate. As long as the affiliate links are used correctly, it doesn’t matter where they are used.
For #3 please use the free Affiliates plugin and light WooCommerce integration which you can both install directly from your WordPress admin section.

      • Ruth

Sorry, I phrased question 2 wrong. What I need to know is that I can create a link for an affiliate that will track sales but link to a page outside of the domain I install the plugin on?

So for example, I run the site xyz.com and I have woocommerce there. But I set up an external sales page on othersite.com, using a payment button from my woocommerce installation at xyz.com. Does your plugin allow me to create a link for an affiliate to othersite.com and still credit them for that sale?

        I hope that makes sense!

        • That would require some adjustments on the secondary site, if an affiliate link points to that site and you want to direct them to the WooCommerce site, the affiliate info would have to be ‘carried on’, technically, the affiliate ID would have to be appended to the URL that points to the WooCommerce site when an incoming affiliate link has been recognized on the secondary site.

      • Jake

Any news on the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension integration yet

  • Hello, i have tested an order using an affiliate id.

The problem is, when an order is processed, the affiliate gets credited instantly.

I guess they should be credited when the order process is marked “complete”. Because what if the order has been canceled. or people are just playing around ordering and just messing with the affiliate section to make money.

Is there a way to fix this, or is it included on the pro version?

    please advise..thanks!

  • Jennifer

Hi, I’d like to use Affiliates pro for Paypal but I would like to be able to use coupon codes to credit affiliate referrals. I see this feature in the Woocommerce plugin but not the Paypal one. Would something like this be available for Paypal anytime soon? Thanks.

    • Thanks for asking Jennifer. Actually I don’t think so, WooCommerce is just really awesome at that and already provides the facilities to manage coupon codes in a great way, I wouldn’t see the point in recreating that functionality for a plain PayPal-based solution.

  • Thomas

I am considering purchasing the Affiliate Pro plugin, but I first want to know if I can set specific commission rates per product with this plugin connected to WooCommerce. Thanks!

  • George C

    Hi Kento,

    A few questions before we commit to purchasing the affiliates pro plugin for woocommerce;

    1) Is there an option to accept or reject affiliate sign ups as we want to approve all registrations manually?

    2) Can the affiliate registration form be customized with additional fields such as file upload?

    3) Can we lock the site down & only grant customer access if they enter an affiliate coupon code for access to the site?

I look forward to your prompt reply.

    Thanks,
    Nick

    • Hi George,

#1 I would recommend a manual sign-up process through a specific contact form then. You could add a page with a form where they can submit their request to be accepted, gather the necessary data there and if you accept a new affiliate, create the user account and link it to an affiliate account. You can easily try out the process with the free Affiliates plugin and Contact Form 7 for example (I’m not referring to the integration with Contact Form 7, that isn’t needed in this case).

#2 See this comment on how you can use a customized form. Again, this doesn’t require Affiliates Pro or Enterprise, you should try it with the free Affiliates plugin before deciding whether to use one of the premium versions.

#3 This sounds like a very specific requirement, I’m not aware of an OOTB solution for that. Have you checked the extensions on WooThemes?

  • J.P.

I see that there have been previous comments requesting Stripe/Subscription integration and that it was a feature that was in the works. Has this been implemented?

I am currently running a subscription site with Stripe that I would love to have affiliates for. However, it would need to have the ability to pay a commission on signups and work with the Stripe payment type.

As it stands now, if a commission is paid through Paypal I would have to fund the Paypal account to pay the commission, right?

    • Hi J.P.,

While having already added support for product commission rates, the part for recurring commissions which I wanted to release along with that update needs a bit more testing, but it will be made available this week.

You do not need to make commission payments through PayPal, the mass file payment generation utility that is included with the plugin can also be used to just provide the pending sums and you can make the payment either manually or through another processor.

  • Hello – Is there a way to export all affiliate email addresses, or send them a message? Thank you! – Scott

    Hey Kento-

I am switching from our old affiliate system to this new one- already purchased and installed- but wondering if there is a way to import all users from my old affiliate system (vs importing them individually)?

    Let me know! Thanks!

  • MikeyMoran

I am using Affiliates Pro 2.3 with Woo Commerce and do not see the new “Coupon Codes” feature for affiliates. What am I missing?

Do you know a way to offer “Affiliate Pricing” which would basically be a “Wholesale Cost” and not allow the affiliate to earn a commission on that deeply discounted price?

    Thanks!

    • antonio

      Hi,
you can create coupons editing an affiliate, and add new attribute with key “Coupons”.

Maybe if you want offer wholesale cost, you could create a coupon, and not set affiliate these users. This is just an idea.

      cheers

  • Roby

Hi, the plugin is compatible with WooCommerce 2.0.2?

  • Roy

    Hi,
I can not find my request that I sent.

Affiliates Pro WooCommerce is compatible with WooCommerce 2.0.2?

Thanks if you want to answer.

  • Maeve

    Hey Kento-

I noticed above you said users who were previously registered could sign up for an affiliate account through the form- but when I test this, it gives me the “error: username is already taken”. How do I get around this? We have over 400+ users on our site as it is, because we have online courses offered. So- if someone who already is registered as a user, they currently cannot sign up to be an affiliate (unless I do it manually).

    Thanks for your insight!

    Maeve

    • Hi Maeve,

They can sign up but they have to log in if they already have an account. This is how it works: if you don’t have an account on the site, you just fill out the form and the system will create a new user account which is linked to an affiliate (users and affiliates are treated as independent entities). If you have an account and try to register, it will complain about the username (or the email address when taken). To allow existing users to join the affiliate program, they would visit the page where they can join, if logged in it will show their existing data (it will complain if required data is missing). You can add a notice on the page advising existing users to log in before they try to join the affiliate program.

      Cheers

  • We have implemented the Affiliates Pro WooCommerce Integration pack and have been quite happy with it.

Question: In the email notification to the affiliate is it possible to pass information about the WooCommerce transaction such as the client contact information? We are using this to track referrals for sales reps and it would be easier for them to follow up on the transactions without having to log into their affiliate page to see them.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    • antonio

      Hi,
You can’t pass this information in the email notification. The params you can use are:
      [site_title] : Itt
      [site_url] : http://itt.tuslistas.com
      [affiliate_id] : The referring affiliate’s ID
      [affiliate_email] : The referring affiliate’s email address
      [affiliate_name] : The referring affiliate’s name

          Hi,
the italian traduction is based in spanish traduction, and it’s partial.
You can modify it in: wp-content/plugins/affiliates-pro/lib/ext/languages/affiliates-it_IT.po (for example with POEdit software)
If you update it, we appreciate if you send us the update.

  • Hi there,

Will this plugin allow me to give the customer who comes to my website from an Affiliate link an automatic 10% off their shopping cart. This is rather than the Affiliate getting any commission.

    I am using WooCommerce.

    Many thanks,

    Hi,
Is it possible to make a specific referral (commission) rate per product rather than by affiliate.
    Cheers

    • antonio

      Hi,
      it’s possible, you must setup:
      Affiliates > Settings
      - Default referral calculation : Referral Amount Method
      - Default referral calculation value : Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rates
      Affiliates > WooCommerce Integration
      - [x] Enable product referral rates
      - Default rate : (rate must be set here or on individual products)
      Products > edit a product > Product Data > Affiliates :
      - Referral rate : (rate must be set here or in general with the Default rate)

  • Have you considered adding PayPal Adaptive Payments to the plugin to allow for instant affiliate payments?

    Mike

    • Thanks for asking Mike, actually I’m considering PayPal Payments Pro – if you’d like to have a look at this thread, you would also be welcome to participate with ideas.

      • What I am looking for is the ability to both pay partners who have products on my site (WooCommerce) and Affiliates at the same time using PayPal Adaptive/ Chained Payments. Quite a few affiliate services are using this payment model now and it really increases the promotion rate on products when everyone sees the payments hitting their inbox right when the sales happen. I know you have the other Add On plugin here for paying Partners Commissions on products hosted on your site and I think this add on would be a great fit for it.

        • It’s certainly worth considering, given that refunds/chargebacks would be handled automatically on all payment receivers for a transaction, it’s an interesting alternative. Probably the main reason is that receivers will see their money sooner on their accounts. I just wonder if this wouldn’t increase PayPal’s fees substantially, based on the examples in Adaptive Payment Fee Calculation Analysis it looks to me that at least the per-transaction fee is multiplied by the number of receivers. It’s not a big deal if you have a few transactions per day, but if you have a fair amount of transactions and a lot of business comes in through affiliates, I’d say it’s one aspect to consider (in making a decision on monthly or instant payouts).

  • Hi there, can’t find this in the forum, but wondering if we can allocate different referral rates per affiliate.

    We have affiliate pro.

    Thanks

  • John

    Kento,

Just wondering if you have released the recurring subscriptions integration yet. I will be purchasing the plugin the day it is released! Thanks

    Hi Guys!

Got the affiliates pro for Woo commerce.

We would like to offer our affiliates the ability to be paid by check, and would like to collect other information from the affiliates (phone number, mailing address, etc.)

    How can we add these?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi,

In your comparison chart it says “Affiliate links to any page”.

    Under “Affiliate Area”:
    http://www.itthinx.com/affiliates-plugins-feature-comparison/

Both Pro and FREE are able to do this it says on comparison chart.

How am I able to get different links to different pages?

    I cannot find this?

    Thanks,
    Riley!

    • antonio

      Hi,
you can use shortcode [affiliates_url]. More info in Affiliates Shortcodes Documentation.
      cheers

      • Hey Antonio,

This doesn’t seem to be working.

What happens is it cancels out all my other [affiliates_url]. It takes note of the [/affiliates_url], but not the first [affiliates_url].

I created an affiliate area via your dashboard, and have now done my tweaks to make it look how I want.

I am now wanting to add page links to specific products!

But as mentioned, [affiliates_url]http://www.example.com/somepage[/affiliates_url] is not working. It does not read the first [affiliates_url], but does take note of the [/affiliates_url].

It also does change to the affiliates link, but cancels out all others.

I am using mystile theme from woothemes.com

      • Hey Antonio,

Is it just a matter of adding the affiliate #ID at the end of the link?

        For example:
        http://www.example.com/product-page?affiliates=3

If the affiliate ID is 3 of course.?

  • ailin

Hi~ I have installed and tested the light version of affiliate and woocommerce integration…

And I want to purchase the Pro version… I just need to know, what do I need to do with the current light version installation? to deactivate and delete?, then instal the pro?

Also I want to know after I make the purchase, where do I get the package?

    Thank you

    Ailin

    • Hi Ailin,

You would replace both the Affiliates plugin and the Light integration plugin with the Pro versions that come with the pack. The data is kept as long as you don’t activate the ‘delete data’ option before deactivating the Affiliates plugin. When you purchase a license you get access to the pack here on the site.

      Cheers

Where can I find more info about the Method signature? Or Custom Method?

I need to create two % rates, one for the fist purchase and the other for the rest of the orders.

    Hi Kento,

I purchased your affiliate-pro but it’s not providing me some of the features you mentioned in this message list (namely subscription – recurring payments, individual product commissions ) with woo-commerce. Do I need to buy the additional Affiliate pro woo-commerce plugin or did I purchase the wrong product?

    thanks,
    Gary

    • Hi Gary,

It would be the WooCommerce integration pack, but you don’t need to buy it in addition, as Affiliates Pro is already included with the pack. We can upgrade that, I’ll email you.

      Cheers

First off the plugin is great – does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. My comment is more of an extension or idea for an additional plugin with the Woocommerce integration. Essentially right now with the affiliates plugin you can assign coupons to affiliates which is great. The problem is this coupon is FOREVER. Currently there is no way to provide something like “50% off your first 3 months” in a coupon on Woocommerce. For me this is such a common way of getting people to adopt early I think it would be great to give affiliates coupons that would behave this way. I know it’s possible to do it (the variables are there but no one has done it yet). I think a separate plugin that could do this combined with affiliates would be amazing.

    • I think the idea is great – coupons that last for a period after a user has joined the site. Is there anything in particular you would like to see on how this relates to affiliates?

  • wmacmill

Well my feeling is the integration is already there given I can assign the coupons to the affiliates once they’re created. One thing that would be great is if there was a bulk coupon generator in affiliates so you could create the coupon code & generate it automatically while assigning it all in one step. I know bulk coupon code generation is possible because I can do it using the smart coupons plugin from woocommerce – but then I have to individually assign each coupon to the affiliate.

What I see is the piece that is missing is really the “First 3 months X% or $X off”. I think it would need to have options for the length of discount (ie X days/weeks/month or X number of recurring transactions – so if they’re being billed monthly it would automatically go until then)). Other options would be to have a “deadline” so for instance save 10% until August 31st – so any recurring billing would be reduced up to that date & then reset to full price. Would push people to book earlier perhaps (ie more savings over the long run). Of course with all of these I’m assuming people are using the subscription plugin. In my eyes this is the main drawback of this plugin is the lack of temporary coupons.

    • Thanks for detailing that, there is an extension which has not yet been released which is related to affiliates and coupons, it allows to reward affiliates with coupons and the bulk coupon generator for affiliates would be in line with this extension. I’ll be happy to add this feature to the extension.

Regarding the coupon expiration, the second option you mention is already available in WooCommerce OOTB – in case you weren’t aware of it, there is an Expiry date option at the bottom of the page when editing a coupon. But I think the ability to limit a coupon to X days etc. after registration is quite appealing and would give a more flexible way to reward new customers. One could even offer discounts for a period of time after having purchased a particular product. What I’m missing is an efficient visual way of presenting that to the customer: a coupon countdown. I’ve started to create a plugin which adds the limit per user based on registration date and also the countdown. If the coupon expiration date based on product purchased is also interesting, it can be added, too. I think that would even be interesting for the case of recurring payments, as every payment is essentially for a repeat purchase of the same product or service.

      • You’re right with the expiration date – hadn’t considered that functionality was already built in. From what you’re saying here it all sounds awesome – exited for the features coming down the pipe. If you can figure out this subscription coupon thing (ie X% off next X payments) I think you’re going to have a great plugin as a lot of people have been looking for this functionality in the subscription plugin. As for how to display a countdown on the coupon what option would be to integrate it with this plugin http://www.woothemes.com/products/limited-deals/ which is already available. It would need some customization to make the times etc all linked to the individuals’s signup date etc but it could be a starting point. Thanks for all your hard work on this plugin.

        • Hi Will,

I think a solution for the case you mention with subscriptions could be combining the number of times a coupon can be used per person with the ‘Recurring Fee Discount’ coupon type that is added by WooCommerce Subscriptions, but we’ll need to test that (with the plugin in development this would already be possible, we’d just have to see if it works as expected).

Regarding the Limited Deals extension, it would probably be easier to just add the option to that plugin itself. I haven’t tried it myself, but from the looks it seems it doesn’t use coupons to do it’s ‘thing’, or am I wrong there?

Many thanks for the input, it’s really valuable!

          Cheers

          • I agree – the recurring fee discount coupon would be the way to go. You idea to add it ot the limited deals extension makes way more sense – great idea.

          • Perfect! Plugin is on its way to be released by the way ;)

That’s awesome! That’s very exciting to hear. Thanks for all the hard work on it!

  • I am interested in having affilates for numerous products many with different Affilate Percentages.. is this possible.. Also Some of my ebook Products are By Donation.. is it possible to integrate this so that people get 50% of the donation..
Lastly, the above said ebook by Donation.. 1/2 goes to Charity.. is it possible to Integrate myself as a Affilate so that 1/2 of all donations from “outside affilates” or general traffic, is marked.. Or basicly every sale of that particular ebook, beyond affilates sales, is marked so i can easily see how much to transfer monthly to the charity…
Lastly, If I have a dozen affilates does this system track them all, all their totals then all I need do is Send them their commissions manually, or can that be set up automatically in bulk or Per order..
Thanks so so so much, Ive been looking for this servie to fit my By Donation products for a long time..
    Much

    • With the Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce integration you can set rates per product, you can also set different rates per affiliate so at least part of what you describe should be covered.

The other part where you effectively share product sales with the charity would be covered by the Affiliates Products plugin.

Affiliates Pro has a section where the totals are calculated and where you can generate a file which can be used for mass payments with PayPal, or if you do manual payments, to know what amounts to pay per affiliates for a specific period.

I hope that makes it a bit more clearer but please ask if you have any additional questions. Also make sure to try out the free version before deciding :)

  • I had a question regarding the short code [affiliates_affiliate_stats type="stats-referrals" /]. In the documentation it says that the attribute data can be used but I’m unclear on what the possible attributes would be? It uses the example message but that doesn’t give me any data when I use an example. Are there specific keys that it can pull in? What I’d like to be able to do is include the order number that is normally contained in the “description” of the affiliate. Also just another quick thought on a feature would be to include the Woocommerce product that the order was for so you could filter by product to see which affiliates are selling which products. Not sure if there’s already another way of doing that but just a thought!

      Hi Will,
the possible values in the “data” attribute are: order_id, order_total, order_currency
Your ideas are welcome, we will study it, thanks for sharing it with us.
      cheers

I have this installed in my client’s site and we used it on her first launch last Spring. Now we create a new page on the site for the new product, affiliate referrals are coming but this time, whenever we click the Affiliates and Referrals, and click the order for certain affiliate…it brings to a 404 error page.

Before, it used to show the page with the affiliate’s referral order details.
Also, where do I get the upgrade pack for WooCommerce integration? It’s showing that I need to update but there is no login or email send to me for any new updates?

    Cheers!

    Hi Admin!

I hope you can help us!

We are looking to set affiliate commissions based on product, but for set amounts.(Product X has $5 commission, Product Y has $10, etc.)

We cannot currently do this with your product, that we’ve been able to find.

Is there an update or work around?

We did try doing it by percentage, but the admin section rounded the percentages down. Instead of 0.1005025125628141 (the percent we needed to get the desired affiliate payout amount), it just became 0.10- which is not quite the same when dealing with a big ticket item.

    Thanks a lot!

    • Hi,

What we can do is add a method that allows you to set fixed amounts, it will be easier to use than the odd percentages anyway ;)

      Cheers
