Show customer name to affiliate

Posted in

I would like the customer’s name to show up on the notification e-mail that is sent to the affiliate. I used the user name shortcode, but that only works if the customer registers on our site. Is there a way to communicate the customer’s name, and the products they purchased to the affiliate in the notification e-mail, or on their affiliate page? I did add a shortcode that shows the affiliates what products were purchased, but not the customer name. It would be most useful to have all of the information together in one place.
Thank you!

    I see.
    I think it’s better for me to have a look at your site, or even better a staging copy of your site if available.
    You can provide me temp admin access, by sending the credentials to
    Also, I would like you to enable WordPress debugging, in case there is an issue interfering with the normal flow.
    To enable it, edit your wp-config.php file and replace the following line:
    define('WP_DEBUG', false );
    with these lines:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true );
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

    after that, any errors will be added to a file named debug.log under your wp-content folder.

    Hi George, I am using affiliates enterprise version 3.0.0. I am also using the affiliates woocommerce views plugin. I deactivated the affiliates woocommerce views plugin and activated the affiliates stats order details plugin. No information showed up on the affiliate page except the title.
    I then deactivated the affiliates stats order details plugin, The referrals then showed up as “Protected: Order – (time of order)”

    If I reactivate the affiliates woocommerce views plugin, the products ordered and the order number show up, but not the customer name.

    Hi Jodie,

    Please have a look at your affiliate area page in case the shortcode is misspelled. Try switching to Text mode and make sure that no character is escaped.
    What happens if you just use [affiliates_affiliate_stats] without the type="stats-referrals" option in your affiliate area page?

    If you are referring to affiliates-woocommerce-views plugin, it’s been a long time since we last updated it, mainly because we introduced [affiliates_affiliate_stats] shortcode and filter hook since Affiliates Enterprise version 2.14.1.
    If you are using an earlier version I think it’s better for you to update Affiliates Enterprise.

    Kind regards,

    I am using a plugin and the shortcode [affiliates_woocommerce_orders]. All the order information except customer name shows up.

    Hi George, thanks for the quick reply. I did try that plugin. Unfortunately, when I activate it, the only information that shows up on the affiliate page are the gift box options that 1 customer picked. (No log in, totals, nothing but gift box options)

    Hi Jodie,

    Please have a look at this free addon. Once you install and activate it, you need to put the shortcode [affiliates_affiliate_stats type="stats-referrals"] in your affiliate area page.

    Is there a short code that could be used on the affiliate page where they could see all their referral customer names in one place? I found a plug-in but it doesn’t work. I can get a details column to show up, but I don’t know how to get the customer’s name in that spot.
    Thank you so much,

    Hi Jodie,

    There is a free addon created by Antonio, which I modified to support the customer first name, last name and the products involved in an order. You can find it here, download the .zip file and upload it to your installation the same as you would with any other plugin.

    Kind regards,
