I do understand that as of now the feature of putting an affiliate url when they register is not in yet. But is there anyway that we can hack the plugin / wordpress to achieve that? Thank you.

Please have a look at the filter affiliates_notifications_tokens described here.
It can be used to modify existing or add new tokens.
