We are using BuddyBoss and Affiliates Pro to register new referred users/members in our community. Also, to give commissions to the referee for the paid memberships. Initially, we tried the free version, and traffic, and referrals were captured perfectly fine. Since we upgraded to Affiliates Pro, it does not show in the members’ affiliate area anymore.

Based on your last comment, with the free version you haven’t recorded referred sales of new memberships but only new user-registration referrals. These two are totally different use cases and for new user-registration referrals obviously you don’t need to have WC installed. The user registrations are tracked by User registration integration.

You’re welcome. Please have a look at your plugins and make sure that Affiliates WooCommerce integration is installed and activated on your site. Referred traffic and hits will be recorded when Affiliates plugin is activated but in order to also keep track of referrals on WC sales, then you also need the aforementioned integration. This integration is different from the Affiliates WooCommerce light and the latter should be disabled and deleted from your site.
Furthermore, and related to the affiliate cookie. As long the cookie is present and stored on the browser, then the statistics will be recorded. A simple way to test that the cookie is properly stored is the following. Copy an affiliate link from an active affiliate and then paste it on a different browser other than the one you are using to view your Dashboard. Then proceed and refer a new WC sale for a membership. Once you’re done with purchasing your membership, go back to your Dashboard and check the Referrals.

Thanks for your explanations.
We do not use WoCommerce. In the previous free Affiliates version, traffic, hits, and new user registrations were recorded without WC integration. Unfortunately, in the current Affiliates Pro version it is not recording. And yes, we have tested with different browers/incognito etc.
If WoCommerce is required, it should have been clearly mentioned. We do not intend to use WoCommerce with this current setup. Understanding from your explanations, without WC, your Affiliates Pro is not working, hence, for us useless.
Kindly refund the money, as we will not be able to use the plugin then.

Thanks for your quick response.
We use buddyboss for the community and paid membership pro for the membership levels. The payments through stripe.
Until we upgraded to Pro, even referrals without payment were showing in the affiliate area of the member as referral/traffic/visit. Regardless if the affiliate link was used, or the direct email invites function through buddyboss/buddypress. Now we upgraded and its not capturing, although it should be possible to show 0 commission for 0 sale. We used the same settings as in Affiliates. Not sure what is wrong.

Can you please provide some more details on the referrals that you used to track but not anymore? Is it referrals on referred memberships? What tool do you use to sell memberships and how do your members buy their new membership?
