Is it possible to assign a role to a group which will allow all member of the group to have access to the features determined by the role?
We are using PublishPress Capabilities Pro and have created a new role that gives users specified access. We’d like to automatically have all of the member of a Group to have access to the role.

Welcome to our support channel.
You can automate this process, but this would require a custom implementation. The approach depends on which one is added first, the role or the group. For example, you need to either get the users by role and then add them to a specific group, or the opposite, get all users in a group and then assign them a specific role. The groups-related part of this implementation is described in the Examples section of the plugin documentation.
At the moment you can still accomplish this through the Users page. Again, depending on the approach, you can do one of the following.
Either filter the Users by a specific group and then assign them a role:
