Paypal Mass Payment 500 Internal Server Error

Posted in

hello
I just bought Affiliate Pro for my website and when I click on “Paypal Mass Payment”, a window opens and says :

“Internal Server Error
The server Encountered internal error or misconfiguration year and Was Unable to complete your request.
Please Contact the server administrator, and inform photographe.net postmaster@www.formation-em of the time the error occurred, and anything you might-have-have done that May Caused the error.
More information about this error May Be available in the server error log. ”

Can you help me?

Is it possible to pay my affiliates directly from Affiliate pro or do you own a development option that would allow?

Jérôme.

    Hello,
I called my host, OVH, and they said the problem is not with my hosting provider. It would rather be a misconfiguration at the FTP plugin…

      Hi Jérôme,

Thanks for checking back with them but they should provide details on what exactly is happening on the server. Please ask them to have a look at the server’s error logs and provide you with any details including configuration files so that these can be checked. Also, if you like we can have a look and see what happens when you request the export file from your WordPress back end. Please email us admin access to the site in that case to support at itthinx dot com and make sure to provide a link to this topic when you email us so that we know it is related to this 500 issue.

Another note on the indication provided by the hosting provider: there is no FTP plugin involved, this is simply a generated text file which the server should be handling without producing any 500.

    Thank you,
Will it be possible to pay the affiliate with your plugin ?

You’re welcome Jérôme. If you refer to making payments directly through the plugin then no, it is not intended to make the payments directly. This has been asked before and one of the main reasons why it is not provided with the plugin is for security. A site which allows to issue payments would require a thorough security audit.

    Hi Jérôme,

Regarding the 500 please contact your hosting provider as this is something that is caused by the server’s configuration rather than the plugin.

Payments are not done directly through Affiliates Pro, they are done using the totals provided by the plugin.

    Cheers
