Tiered Payouts per item, fixed amount.

Greetings,
Thanks for writing a wonderful plugin.
My client wants to payout $4, $3, $2, $1 to affiliates and tiers PER BOX. And different products are different prices, that are not round numbers, so it would be difficult to get the proper percentage without getting decimal places.
I saw another post on the forum here that referred to Affiliates Custom Method – Products Amount.
Is this what I need?
If so, then do I need to set the payout per product?

Also, currently, when I set the tiers, I ticked the clickbox for “Relative rates [ x ] Level rates are relative”

With that box ticked, I assumed if I have my original referrer getting $4, I should have these set to be .75, .5, and .25 in order to create the $3, $2, $1, scenario. http://grab.by/qesS
However, when I do that, I get the error: http://grab.by/qesK

Also, can I get into the forms to alter the html to include difference classes? My site uses Bootstrap so, I’d prefer to alter the markup than to create special CSS for the forms.

Please let me know. I’ll probably have more questions, but any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thx!

    Hi Antonio,
I installed that plugin a long time ago. http://d.pr/i/6gLF
    Are these the proper settings:
    http://d.pr/i/felq
    http://d.pr/i/sGWa

It is not clear to me what it’s supposed to be. Please let me know.
    Thanks

      Hi,
with this custom method, the value that you use on a product page on tab “Affiliates”, is used as fixed amount instead of rate. For example, if you set 0.5 then the affiliate get $0.5 instead of 50%.
Now you should go to product page and set the values.
      cheers

Hi Antonio, Thanks for your response. There appears to be a miscommunication.
But, reviewing what I need –
“My client wants to payout $4, $3, $2, $1 to affiliates and tiers PER BOX.”
Currently, their product prices are 24.95, and 16.95.
What you seem to be saying is that I need to put a PERCENTAGE in the RATE boxes – either a default in SETTINGS or individual Products in the PRODUCT DATA/AFFILIATES: http://d.pr/i/AGNf
The issue is that if I put in .17, the payout for for the OR is $4.24 and if I make it. .16, the payout is $3.99. And my client wants the payout to be $4 exactly, PER BOX, whether the product is $24.95 or $16.95
    Is this possible?
    Please let me know.

      Hi,
you can try Affiliates Custom Method:: Product Amount. With this plugin if you set “4” in a product rate, this uses this value as fixed amount not as a rate.

      cheers

Also, after updating, I’m getting an error with WooCommerce addon.
I’ve deactivated and reactivated both plugins several times in order to fix.
But I still get the error.

    http://grab.by/qfIE

“Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin requires an appropriate Affiliates plugin to be activated: Affiliates Pro or Affiliates Enterprise.”

    Please advise. Thx!

      That is very strange. Please:
      – deactivate both plugins.
      – activate only Affiliates Enterprise.
      – then activate the integration.

I have tried this and I haven’t this warning.

        Thanks Antonio,
I’ve done as instructed and I’m still seeing the issue.
        See here: http://d.pr/v/PUQA
        Any ideas?
        Thx.

          Hi,
you have renamed the “affiliates-enterprise” folder to “affiliates-enterprise_new”, this causes this problem. Please rename it to “affiliates-enterprise”.
          cheers

            Hi Antonio,
I’ve emailed a couple times since you’ve last emailed me about the issue that I’m still having. I’ll post it here again. Please let me know the resolution. I appreciate all the support you’ve provided.

            YOU WROTE:
Please rename affiliates enterprise folder to “affiliates-enterprise”, then you can enable Affiliates Woocommerce Integration, and use the custom method.
Don’t worry about the message of rates (with the custom method, the functionality changes).

            The steps:

            – Rename folder, and activates Affiliates Woocommerce Integration.
            – Select the custom method on Affiliates->Settings.
            – For each product, set “4” as product rate.
This must works. If you have any problem, please advice.
To show referrals information to affiliates you can use [affiliates_affiliate_stats /] shortcode.

            I WROTE:
            Hi Antonio,
I’m still having problems. I think I’ve set everything as instructed.
            http://d.pr/i/lgF8
            http://d.pr/i/7mQM

But my original referrer is getting paid 4x the product price. Meaning, the items was $10 and the referrer shows a $40 credit.
I want the original referrer to be paid $4 per item ordered. Not a percentage.
Level 1 should get $3, Level 2 should get $2, Level 3 should get $1. Per item ordered.

Also, I see the shortcode you provided for affiliate stats. Is it possible to show the affiliates the last name of purchasers who they referred?

Please let me know about both of these issues.
You still have admin access to this dev site if you want to get in and take a look.

            Thx.

              Hi,

The values that must be set are rates, not percentages. For the example you mention, the rate would have to be set at 0.4, which is equivalent to 40% and will produce $4 commission for a $10 purchase. The same applies to the tier rates, note that these can also be set as relative to the amount credited to the O.R.

BTW, renaming the folder part worked for that issue. It’s only the other issues I need fixed.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.
But what about setting referral amounts for every item sold, instead of every order?

    Please let me know. Thx!

    • antonio September 14, 2013 at 6:11 am #

      Hi,
you can use Affiliates Custom Method – Products Amount and the scenario you indicate above.

  5. antonio September 13, 2013 at 3:35 pm #

    Hi,
    your calculations are correct.
This limit will be removed in the next update.
    I send you an email.
    cheers
