Upselling a User using Paypal Pro Forms doesn’t cancel old subscription

I have a strange situation.

I understood that if a user upgrades and I’m using a Pro Form instead of regular Paypal buttons, it would cancel the subscription. It did change the subscription ID inside of the user account but their old subscription is still active. Please advise what will happen. Do I have to manually cancel their old subscription?

Please note that if I upgraded with out using the Pro Form the subscription ID doesn’t change. I wanted it to change so that it can cancel the old site subscription (different domain) and then begin a fresh one on the new site.

Can you please advise if I should cancel the other subscription (original one) or if it’s suppose to do that on the anniversary date? I don’t want the user to get charged twice. Thanks.

Cesar

    Hi Cesar,

Is this a question related to s2Member? I don’t see if there’s a connection to the Affiliates Enterprise plugin here, but let me know if that’s the case and I’m missing something from your question. If it’s just related to s2Member, I think you can assume that both subscriptions will be active until cancelled, but I would suggest to ask on their forums to make sure.

    Cheers
