    Hi Jan,

As for this discount, is it a discount appearing on checkout or a commission found in Affiliates > Referrals? For the latter please also make sure to Expand details, descriptions and data. This way you can check the details on where exactly was this referral recorded.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Jan,

Regarding the commission, that’s correct with Affiliates Free edition the commission equals a percentage of the total net sale amount. If you remember my last reply on your previous topic I’m quoting again below:

Whenever someone uses this link and buys Awesome Product, the affiliate George will get a commission that equals the total net sale amount multiplied by the commission rate specified in step 3. On the other hand your client as the product vendor will not get a commission because we have set it to 0 in step 2.

However, it is possible to grant a commission for a percentage of the product price if you use Rates, which is a feature of Affiliates Pro and Affiliates Enterprise editions.

Regarding affiliates products and how to organise and share them with your customers, this can be done easily if you group all these products under the same product category or product tag. This way you only have to share the link to that taxonomy with your customers.

As for your third question related to users changing passwords, I’m afraid I can’t be certain about this. Perhaps the translation isn’t accurate for this point. Perhaps your users get the wrong message once they login and are prompted to change password. Is this related to Affiliates?

    Kind regards,
    George

      Hello George,

Another question from my client. I translated as good as possible.

Sabine gets her discount as requested on orders where her code was used. However, she sometimes also gets (a mini discount of €0.02 or €0.03) when this product is sold, without using the code.
How is this possible? And can this be solved?

      Regards,
      Jan

    Hi Jan,

As I mentioned and as long as you haven’t modified the Permissions, an affiliate can only see his/her data once they login to the Affiliates Dashboard area.
When a user hasn’t registered as an affiliate, then in that area they will just see the registration form.

As for affiliates registrations in general there are two distinct cases:
    1. When a visitor registers through the affiliates registration form, a user and an affiliate record are created on your site mapped to that user.
    2. When an existing user registers as an affiliate, then the affiliate registration form is pre-filled and this new affiliate record is mapped to the user.

    Kind regards,
    George

Hello George, here some questions from my client.
I translated it as good as possible.

The affiliate sees €10.22, but this is not possible. The intention is that she only receives a discount on the ‘affiliate product’ and not on the entire order.

She now only has 1 affiliate product, but if she has multiple products, it would be useful for her that people could immediately see all products in the webshop that are discounted via 1 link.
      Is that possible?

People keep logging in and changing passwords. That’s still normal?

      Regards,
      Jan

    Hi Jan,

Welcome back to our support forum.

Can you please mention in which context an affiliate can see the other affiliates’ info?
The default location that an affiliate can check his/her own statistical data and links only is the Affiliates Dashboard, but in order to get access they need to login using their user account credentials. Still though what they will see is their own data.

Unless you have granted additional permissions to specific user roles in Affiliates > Settings > General, under Permissions section, which by default are only granted to administrator roles. Please have a look at your settings and let me know if further assistance is needed on this matter.

    Kind regards,
    George

On the affiliate page i see this message:

If you are not an affiliate, you can join the affiliate program here:
      Your affiliate account is closed.
