Welcome to our support forum and many thanks for using our software on your site.
If everything is working properly on your site and no related errors are logged in debug.log, this could also depend on the editor you are using.
For example with the Classic WordPress editor you can add a shortcode once you switched to Text as shown in the following screenshot:

Alternatively, if you are using the Block Editor, add the desired block from the list, or add a shortcode block and inside it, add your shortcode.
