can anyone tell me how to actually use the two and set up my own mlm? where do I find instructions on the integration? and a ‘for dummies’ version to setup the matrix?

Affiliates tiers works this way:
For a system using 1 level of affiliate tiers,
Affiliate A refers a new affiliate, Affiliate B.
If Affiliate B gets a referral, Affiliate A will also get a commission.
This commission is calculated based on the rate set under level 1.
For a system using 2 levels of affiliate tiers,
Affiliate 1 refers a new affiliate, Affiliate 2.
Affiliate 2 refers a new affiliate, Affiliate 3.
If Affiliate 3 gets a referral, Affiliate 2 and Affiliate 1 will also get a commission.
Affiliate 2 commission is calculated based on the rate set under level 1.
Affiliate 1 commission is calculated based on the rate set under level 2.
In general, it depends on how many levels you prefer to use, but the main usage is the one i described.

Although WP Leads Press doesn’t integrate with Affiliates plugin, Affiliates Enterprise supports tier referrals. Please have a look at the documentation on how tiers work and how you can set them up.

The integration with our Affiliates system that WP Leads Press has created is not an official integration that we support our have documented. I mean it’s great to see these things being created by other developers and integrating with their product, the thing here is that we’re really not familiar with their product and this is the first time I hear about its existence. It would be interesting to see if they have any documentation on this integration and I would suggest that you get in touch with them directly and ask. As we haven’t tested and are not familiar with their integration we can’t really help with the specifics of it, in any case, please let us know what info they can provide and if we can further help after that.
