    Hi,

I am a newbee but have some support from someone who helps me out. I use affiliate pro for s2Members. All works fine, but now I want to install a multi tier option. Tried to figure out here on the site but it just isnt clear to me. Using aff-pro for s2Member what do I need to purchase and is it just an add-in or do I need to reprogramm everything?

    Thanks

Hi, I understand that i can edit the texts here:
    affiliates-pro/lib/core/class-affiliates-registration.php on the lines 242-245

But i do not want to constantly edit it whenever i update the plugin.
Is there a way to it?
I tried to create a affiliates pro folder under my child theme but it does not work.

    Appreciate your help. Thanks.

Antonio, Hey could you refer me to a good outline of how I should format my shortcodes? Should I give each affiliate area its own short code. The documentation does not explain what affiliate extensions are mandatory. Thank you

        • antonio May 28, 2014 at 6:42 am #

          Hi,
in Affiliates->Options you have available a button to generate the affiliate-page. You only need one affiliate-page (system detects the affiliate, and shows his data).
If you need more information about shortcodes, you have available the documentation shortcode section.
Depending on your needs, you need different extensions.Usually depends on when you want to generate commissions (on buy, on submit a form …).
          cheers

Oh wow. So once an affiliate registers they will automatically have a portal with their own stats etc. ?

Also, what is the fastest way to assign coupon codes for affiliates.

            • antonio May 30, 2014 at 6:49 am #

Yes, new Affiliates will have an affiliate-area page.
If you want to assign a new coupon to new affiliates automatically, have a look to Affiliates Coupons.
If you need to create a new coupon to an affiliate, in Affiliates->Manage Affiliates you can edit the affiliate and add a coupons attribute.
              cheers

Hi, I have been using Affiliates Light for a few months now. I have been getting visitors from another site, but all referrals are being recorded as direct.

I thought this was because the affiliate visitors did not buy any products, and all my customers came from direct visits. But today, the manager at the affiliate site bought a product, and used the link on their site. Affiliates Light shows a visit from the affiliate site, however, the referral is showing up as direct!

    Thanks,

    Kevin

      Hi Kevin,

Have you checked that after visiting the affiliate link, the wp_affiliates cookie is placed on the visitor’s browser?

I just tried following the link on my browser, and it didn’t place the wp_affiliates cookie there. How can I fix this?

    Hi there,

First of all, thanks a lot for creating such good stuff — it really is awesome!

I have a small issue with my affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin. I have purchased the Affiliates Pro (installation and plugin work great), I also installed the WooCommerce Integration plugin which gives me a warning message (on the WP dashboard) saying “The Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin requires the WooCommerce plugin to be activated”, the WooCommerce plugin is activated and works perfectly fine. Any input on this would be extremely helpful.

    Thank you,
    _
    Martin

    • kento April 29, 2014 at 9:42 am #

      Hi Martin,

Thank you for your kind feedback on the plugins 🙂

The message you mention should only show while the WooCommerce plugin isn’t activated. Do you still see the message throughout? If yes please let me know which versions you are using. You can also try to deactivate and reactivate the Affiliates plugins but in any case please let me know about the outcome.

      Cheers

      • Martin M April 29, 2014 at 2:50 pm #

        Kento,

I do see the message throughout even though WooCommerce is activated. I have tried deactivating and activating a few times, I have re-installed affiliates pro plugin and woocommerce integration plugin as well. It appears for some reason the woocommerce intergration plugin isn’t identifying woocommerce as activated even though it is.

        Versions:
        -Affiliates Pro: Version 2.5.0
        -Affiliates WooCommerce Integration: Version 1.3.4
        -WooCommerce: Version 2.0.20

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply!

That’s odd but I see you have older versions. Can you please install the latest ones from the Downloads section and check if it still happens after that?

          • Martin M April 29, 2014 at 9:16 pm #

            Kento,

I didn’t purchase the plugin through this website, so I don’t have access to the downloads. I purchased it with a membership we have that gives us access to multiple plugins (all legal, so no worries). Is there another way to download the newest version?

            Thanks,

The only authorized distributors would be Jigoshop, WooCommerce, EDD, CodeCanyon and of course here directly. Any place else (unless I forgot one), you’ve been scammed and badly. I recommend to get a license here if you have obtained it from any non-authorized source. Not mentioning security issues inherent to plugins obtained from shady places.

Update … I’ve changed the affiliate URL from affilitaes to kinoki and back and now it seems to work!

    • kento April 28, 2014 at 9:14 am #

Hi Nathalie, thanks for the update on that. In some cases there seems to be an issue after visiting the Settings > Permalinks admin section and doing what you have described solves it.

I’ve installed Affiliates Pro a while ago but didn’t actually use it. Now I’ve added a user as an affiliate but when they try to enter my site using their specific affiliate ID, all they see is an 404 error page. Do you have an idea how to fix this? Thanks so much!

  10. Bryan April 22, 2014 at 11:07 pm #

I’m trying to wrap my head around the options in the Pro version for WooCommerce.

Can I limit affiliate commissions to one category?
Can I have different users setup for different rates and limited to different products/categories than other users?

Is there a document that I can read before I purchase about what I can do when setting up rates, catagories, products, etc…

    • kento April 27, 2014 at 12:24 pm #

      Hi Bryan,

Commissions can’t be set by category but they can be set per product. But that would be for all, i.e. you can’t set a rate specific per-affiliate-per-product. For example, you can have commissions of say 20% in general and on some products grant a different commission or none at all.

The documentation page for the Affiliates plugins is here if you’d like to have a look.

I always recommend to give the free versions a try before you decide using Pro/Enterprise. They are fully functional and in many cases more than enough to work with, although of course I do appreciate the support for our work when people buy the premium versions 🙂

      Cheers

    Hi Kento,

This plugin is great just two things I can’t seem to figure out or find in the documentation or forums.

    1. I have let the plugin automatically create a registration page, but people can’t register because the recapthca is not displayed.

    2. When I manually create / register a affiliate, how do I set their password for their login?

Thanks in advance for your help and the plugin.

looking forward to hearing from you.

I purchased your plugin affiliate share links. It is require Affiliate pro. I am also looking for a feature such as “sponsor a friend”. How does affiliate pro or any other from you handles this? Finally I would like to be able to set up different % commissions per product instead of a generic one

    • kento April 18, 2014 at 8:40 am #

      Hi Carlos,

By ‘sponsor a friend’ do you mean so that the friend gets a discount and the referrer a commission? If so, then that is possible with the integrations that support coupons. See http://www.itthinx.com/documentation/affiliates/setting-up-affiliate-resources/coupons/ for an explanation of how these work.

Commission rates per product are supported with the Jigoshop and WooCommerce integrations for Affiliates Pro (the light integrations do not support it).

Will the Affiliate Permanent Plugin work with the Affiliate Pro WooCommerce Plugin? Or does it only work with the free Affiliate Plugin

    • Robert April 16, 2014 at 4:45 pm #

I see yes the plugin does work with Affiliate Pro.

Also is there a refund policy on your plugins? If we go ahead and purchase and it doesn’t do what we need are we able to receive a refund?

    • kento April 18, 2014 at 8:31 am #

It works with both (and Enterprise).

  15. Brian April 15, 2014 at 5:09 pm #

Hi Kento, so Affiliates Pro doesn’t support a standard 3rd party tracking pixel?

    • kento April 15, 2014 at 6:15 pm #

That wouldn’t be a solution to your original question. If you want to use Affiliates Pro to manage your affiliates and commissions for sales they refer, then the referred orders must be recognized by the system so that it can record a referral. Thus the use of the API.

You seem to be using WP e-Commerce, for that you can already use an existing integration http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/affiliates-wp-e-commerce/ if you haven’t installed it already.

For the external subscription service, you need a developer to create an integration for you based on the API.

Hi, i like to use WooCommerce as my eCommerce platform, i’m interested in Affiliates Pro plugin. So i need to purchase Affiliates Pro plugin ($50) + Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce ($59)? Or only purchase Affiliates Pro for WooCommerce is just enough? thanks

  17. Robert April 14, 2014 at 10:47 pm #

We are interested in your Affiliate Management plugin for WP. Before we proceed with our purchase, we need to confirm an important capability.

    1. Key functionality – lifetime commission tracking from initial zero-cost product purchase/registration.

    2. Initial transaction* – Currently, all of our clients must first make a zero cost (no credit card) ‘purchase’ of a free service offering. This $0 purchase is processed thru our WooCommerce shopping cart.

    B. We want to register this initial transaction in our Affiliate Management program so that we can pay lifetime commissions for all future transactions to the referring agent (affiliate) even if there is no cookie present at the time that any/all premium service is purchased by the customer.

*Instead of requiring the initial $0 purchase, we might like the option to register the referral from a form submission. We are using Formstack for all data submissions and would like to confirm that this would be possible. That said, we are happy using the $0 free purchase as out initial trigger event.

Please confirm if you support this functionality and how best we can implement it.

    Thanks.

    • kento April 15, 2014 at 6:43 pm #

Hi Robert, thanks for describing your requirements. Based on that, you would definitely need some customizations, especially because you want to use a service – Formstack – which hasn’t been integrated with the Affiliates plugins. So you would need to hire a developer to create that integration. So the answer to your main question would be no, the functionality you describe is not supported OOTB and you would need to hire an experienced developer to implement it.

      • Robert April 15, 2014 at 7:48 pm #

        Hi Kento,

Allow me to re-state my inquiry since my reference to Formstack as a nice-to-have option appears to have caused confusion.

This is how we wish to use Affiliate Pro and the questions I wish to confirm:

Scenario: Customers sign up for our free screening service by purchasing a $0 screening product that is processed as a purchase transaction by our WooCommerce shopping cart. This ‘purchase’ does not require any payment and no credit card details are taken.
We then promote our premium services to these screening customers for purchase at a later time.

        Questions
        1. Does Affiliate Pro tracking work for $0 (no-cost) WooCommerce transactions? Yes – we know it works via cookies and just need to confirm that the tracking of the referral is not effected by the fact that the product price is set as $0.
        2. Can we track the initial referral (for the free screening service) and pay commissions to the original referrer (affiliate) for any/all future purchases made by the free screening customers they refer?
        3. If so, do we need the Affiliates Permanent extension to manage this? http://www.itthinx.com/documentation/affiliates-permanent/
        4. Regarding Affiliates Permanent, I’ve read the description provided but still need to confirm that if a referred client returns and makes a purchase at a later date, do they still need to have an active cookie or will be the transaction be automatically credited to the original (assigned) affiliate even if the cookie is no longer present?
Basically, we need to confirm how best to support lifetime commissions to original referring affiliates for a freemium service offering. I ‘think’ your plugins and extensions will work but want to be sure.

        Thanks.

        • kento April 18, 2014 at 8:59 am #

          Hi Robert,

Affiliates Permanent would be suitable as it permanently assigns the affiliate to the customer for future commissions based on the first completed order. It does not depend on cookies after the assignment.

  18. Brian Alverio April 14, 2014 at 3:32 pm #

Hi, I am using the Affilliate Pro and I have an external subscription (paid subscription) vendor that I want affiliates to get credit for – is this plug in able to log the external cart and register the commssion? The website is paleomagonline and if you click the subscribe button in the nav you can see the vendor, thanks.

  19. Brian April 13, 2014 at 1:16 pm #

I currently have a website used for a network marketing program where everyone in my downline gets a free website to promote the opportunity. I have installed WordPress for a training website and in the process of connecting my downline’s website to access the WP database.

The questions I have for Affiliates Pro are…

    1) Does your plugin allow for making the entire website private or do I need to install an additional plugin?

    2) Will I need to continue with my current way of doing business with pages that I offer to my downline or can I still use mod rewrite to provide my downline with a URL like…
    http://mygoldaccount.com/cubicalweb

    3) Does Affiliate Pro create a new table within WordPress to store data or does it use ‘wp_users’ and ‘wp_username’?

    4) Can I easily add additional fields to the registration form?

    5) Can fields be locked so they are not editable from the affiliates profile page, but still be seen by the affiliate?

The main reason that I’m interesting in your plugin is the ability to send out emails to the new affiliate and the affiliate’s sponsor. I’m not interested in paying out commissions as the parent company handle’s that process.

    Thanks!

    Brian

    • kento April 15, 2014 at 6:37 pm #

      Hi Brian,

#1 Affiliates/Pro/Enterprise aren’t intended to protect a site, only to provide affiliate management. You could use Groups and Groups Blog Protect though … http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/groups-blog-protect/

#2 You should seek help from an experienced consultant to make such a decision. If you want to decide on whether to use Affiliates Pro, you should first try the free Affiliates plugin to see if it matches your requirements in general.

#3 Affiliates are separate entities from WordPress user accounts, they can be related or not. The plugins create their own tables to manage that.

      #4 http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/affiliates-extra-fields/

#5 You would probably need a profile editor plugin for flexibility.

On your requirement for emails, it depends on what exactly you want to communicate to the affiliate, it may or may not be covered by what Affiliates Pro sends out when a referral is recorded. It can notify the affiliate when a referral is recorded, but when you say the affiliate’s sponsor, I’m not sure what exactly you refer to. If it’s tiers you refer to, then they can get notified, too. But that requires Affiliates Enterprise.

Again, try out the free Affiliates plugin before making any decision. And from what you asked, I would expect you need some degree of customization.

      • Brian April 16, 2014 at 12:55 am #

Thanks Kento for the reply. Currently I’m in a 12 week intensive Rails Engineering course that takes up all my time. I can only work on this project on Saturdays and have spent a lot of time trying many different plugins. I will attempt it with affiliates this weekend.

As for your comment “You should seek help from an experienced consultant”, I have contacted my different developers and all tell me that what I need is beyond their abilities. I stuck trying to figure it out myself.

  21. Anonymous April 2, 2014 at 6:48 am #

    Hi,

is it possible to have two different kinds of affiliates? We would want all registered users to be “light” affiliates, which wouldn’t get money from referrals (we’d give them coupons etc. manually) and then Pro affiliates, who have to register and give more information to get to the affiliate program and get money from referrals.

    Thanks in advance!

    • antonio April 7, 2014 at 10:25 am #

      Hi,
all affiliates are similar. If your “light affiliates” don’t need to generate commissions from referrals, maybe they should not be affiliates, only member with coupons.
      cheers

      • Anonymous April 7, 2014 at 12:14 pm #

Hm, yeah. The thing is, the “light affiliate” doesn’t have to do anything else than to register to the site, send an email via a form to friends’ email, and the affiliate link is there. To give them coupons would require manual work by us, and following who did what etc. would mean more work too.

Maybe we’re overthinking this and should just let everyone be normal affiliates, and just track the ones that are Pro affiliates. Is there a way to tag certain affiliates?

        • antonio April 8, 2014 at 7:04 am #

          Hi,
you can’t add tags to affiliates.
If you are using woocommerce, you could create two groups (with Groups plugin), and use Affiliates Groups to give to affiliates different rates.
          cheers

          Hi,
when an affiliate is created, automatically is approved. You can use “Default referral status” (on Affiliates->Options) to control the commissions.
You could close affiliates registration (on Affiliates->Options), and add their manually.

    members.whatever.com

… where S2 Member Pro is installed. Both use WordPress. Affiliates link to http://www.whatever.com, but purchases are made on members.whatever.com.

So, is it possible to allow affiliates to link to http://www.whatever.com, but have it “register” with members.whatever.com?

    Thank you,
    Bob

    • kento February 25, 2014 at 5:20 pm #

Thanks for asking Bob, have a look at this topic please Affiliates on a Subdomain. Although you’ll need the integration for s2Member with Affiliates Pro to get referrals recorded, you can already test the hits and visits being recorded using the free Affiliates plugin.

Also, following the above pulling affiliates additional fields appears to be a bit of a pain, any tips on how I can pull this info would be much appreciated.

    • James Duffell February 25, 2014 at 11:26 am #

Ahh, my fault there was a typo, the additional fields are displaying, I just can’t get my head around publicly displaying an affiliates code on their public author page. Got a feeling there’s something simple I’m overlooking.

      • kento February 25, 2014 at 4:59 pm #

Ok thanks for following up on that, if you still need help on that after looking at the documentation page I’ve suggested, please post a topic.

  29. James Duffell February 24, 2014 at 2:54 pm #

    Hi,

I’ve got an affiliate dashboard setup so that agents can easily see their coupon and sales, is there an easy way to show a users coupon on their author.php I’m trying to create public affiliate pages which display bios using the wordpress profile data but can’t figure out how to pull the coupon code.

    • kento February 25, 2014 at 4:58 pm #

Hi James, I think you’re looking for the [affiliates_affiliate_profile] shortcode with the show_attributes option, see Setting up an affiliate profile page in the documentation please. If you need specific help on that, please post a topic in the the Affiliates Pro section of the Forums.

      • James Duffell February 25, 2014 at 5:58 pm #

        Hi Kento,

Is there a way of getting access as I purchased the plugin direct from Jigoshop, I have my receipt if needed.

        • kento February 25, 2014 at 6:12 pm #

Ah ok, in that case you’re welcome to post here directly 🙂

          • James Duffell February 26, 2014 at 4:06 pm #

Cheers, the issue I’m still having is displaying the affiliate coupon code on the author.php page. I’ve created an affiliate profile page which lists an affiliates referrals and coupon, but what I’m doing is creating public facing agent profiles utilising the WordPress author.php pages.

So I’m essentially struggling to display the coupon for an agent publicly, I can use facebook ?> to display a field using the Affiliates Extra Fields plugin but as mentioned I’m struggling to publicly return the users coupon.

            Cheers

            • antonio March 3, 2014 at 12:47 pm #

              Hi,
maybe this plugin can help you to show only coupons as plain text.
              cheers

  30. Milque February 18, 2014 at 7:12 pm #

It seems that Affiliates Pro and the Woocommerce package would suit my needs. Couple of questions:

    1) Will I require an additional licence for the staging environment (for testing purposes)? Some plugins require multiple licences, others don’t.

1a) If I do need multiple licences do you offer some kind of multi licence option?

1b) How long is each licence valid for?

    2) Can you have affiliates sign up without the “allow anyone to register” option? We have disabled this because we ended up with bogus registrations. So we only allow people who purchase something through woocommerce to register an account with us now.

2a) If not, I could see a potential workaround to put a contact form and doing the registration manually in the background, but I prefer to automate as much as possible.

    Many thanks

    • kento February 20, 2014 at 12:01 pm #

Thanks for asking, see http://www.itthinx.com/terms-conditions/ please for the details on the conditions and access. We’re not offering a package for multiple licenses yet, but we do provide discounts by volume. If you’d like to get in touch about that please use itthinx at itthinx dot com (you don’t need an additional license for the development site though). #2 yes, it’s independent from that option.

      • Milque February 20, 2014 at 12:23 pm #

OK have sent you email thanks very much

        • Milque February 20, 2014 at 12:29 pm #

Actually, scratch that – just re-read your comment about the development site. Thanks again! 🙂

    Hi there!

    I’ve bought the Affiliates Pro version but when I try to activate it I get an error that tells the following;

      Hi,
be sure you have the “light” version deactivated, then reinstall the pro version.
      cheers

  32. Linda February 13, 2014 at 10:53 pm #

Thanks so much. I’ve now purchased and installed the eShop integration

  33. Bastian Gasteiger February 12, 2014 at 8:53 am #

    Hello,

great Plugin. I bought the pro version. Ist there any possibility to include the Tax ( to calculate the referral rate from full value (not net value)?

    • kento February 12, 2014 at 2:37 pm #

      Hi Bastian,

It would be possible to modify the integration to take the full amount into account but we don’t provide that as an option as normally it makes more sense to have it based on the net amount. One way to achieve something similar would be to raise the affiliate rate in proportion.

      • Bastian Gasteiger February 12, 2014 at 2:47 pm #

        Thanks for your fast answer.

Do you have a hint, wich php file i have to look at/modify.

        • kento February 12, 2014 at 7:20 pm #

I would recommend to use a higher rate for this purpose, hacking the plugin files isn’t recommended at all. Or you could use a custom method for which you can have a look at the API.

          • Bastian gasteiger March 18, 2014 at 1:12 pm #

            Hello,

Now i’m working with a higher referral rate, but its not precise. I have a referral rate 0.3 and taxes 0.19 wich is combined (0.3*0.19)=0,357 but the plugin supports 2 decimal places. Maybe there is a PHP in which i can teach the Plugin to take the full amount incl. tax to calculate the referral amount.

            Thanks in advance.

            • antonio March 20, 2014 at 10:50 am #

              Hi,
You can try to change ‘AFFILIATES_REFERRAL_AMOUNT_DECIMALS’ in affiliates-enterprise/lib/core/constants.php
Remember that when you update these changes will be lost so it’s not the best solution.
              cheers

  34. Linda Marson February 7, 2014 at 1:05 pm #

I’ve installed the Affiliates plugin on my site. I only want some products available to Affiliates, not everything that’s sold through the site. Can I specify which products are available and block others in Affiliates, or do I need Affiliates Pro?

    • antonio February 10, 2014 at 8:55 am #

      Hi,
with Affiliates Pro Woocommerce Integration you can set different commission for each product (including zero commission).
      cheers

      • Linda Marson February 13, 2014 at 6:50 am #

Thanks. I purchased the plugin but now I think there’s potentially a big problem. I already have the WordPress eShop plugin installed and running my online shop. I now see that woo commerce is a whole shop set-up which I don’t need. Can I use Affiliate Pro with the WordPress eShop plugin and set different commission for products, including zero commission?

        • kento February 13, 2014 at 10:58 am #

The integration for eShop doesn’t support product rates. You would need a developer to do this for you and we have a skeleton plugin which can be used for that: Affiliates Product Rates Skeleton.

          • Linda February 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm #

Oh, this is getting too complicated. I’ll forget about different product rates. However, I now realise I should have Affiliates Pro for eShop and I bought the Affiliates Pro Woocommerce integration. Can I swap this for the eShop version of Affiliates Pro?

            • kento February 13, 2014 at 1:27 pm #

Ok, yes that really requires an additional effort. For the package, the easiest is we refund the order you placed and you place a new one for the other integration pack.

  35. Blake January 31, 2014 at 6:16 am #

Hey! I keep getting this email. It says to contact the service provider. Any idea how this can be fixed? Thanks!

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

    https://www.yourultimateapartment.com/wp-content/plugins/affiliates-paypal/lib/ipn.php

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

    Thanks,

    PayPal

    • kento February 1, 2014 at 11:24 am #

Hi Blake, do you have a valid SSL certificate installed for the site? If not, the request would fail and lead to the message you get.

      • Blake February 2, 2014 at 6:15 am #

Thanks so much. I’m new to this stuff. I will look into that immediately.

  36. Maiya January 23, 2014 at 1:30 am #

    Hi there,
Is it possible to automatically add all current users as affiliates, and then automatically add any new customers? We’re using Woocommerce and Affiliates Pro – thanks!

  37. Anil January 10, 2014 at 4:05 pm #

Hello, we are using Affiliate Pro…we are using shortcodes in email notifications, e.g. [affiliates_referrals status="accepted"], but when we do get the notification email this shortcode simply shows up as text. Anyone else facing this issue?

    • kento January 10, 2014 at 6:04 pm #

Hi Anil, these won’t produce substitutions in the email notifications, they are for use on pages.

Please post a topic in the forums for help on Affiliates Pro.

      • Anil January 10, 2014 at 7:21 pm #

Thanks. I will for future issues. Just for this…

The notification that goes out is pretty useless then as it has no details on the referral (amount etc). I saw another thread here that talked about using Affiliates Woocommerce Views plugin that may allow to add order information to notifications. I tried that but same thing. Is there a way to add any relevant info to the notification on that particular referral that triggered that notification?

        Thanks

        • kento January 10, 2014 at 10:05 pm #

The Filters allow you to customize pretty much anything and add any tokens you need.

  38. Robin December 30, 2013 at 11:51 am #

    Hi there,
I have downloaded the Affiliate plugin for Woocommerce and it seems to be working fine. However, I cannot find a way of actually paying the affiliates who have had referrals. The fact that they have earned commission shows up, but I do not see a way of paying them for that commission.
    Thanks for your help,
    Robin

    • kento December 30, 2013 at 1:03 pm #

      Hi Robin,

You will find the accumulated totals for each affiliate under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates – these are indicated for each affiliate entry and the totals are shown by referral status. ‘Accepted’ for those pending payment, ‘Pending’ for those referrals that need to be confirmed (accepted) or rejected, ‘Rejected’ for referrals that have been denied and ‘Closed’ for those marked as paid.

      • kento December 30, 2013 at 1:04 pm #

PS: If you’re using Affiliates Pro then you’ll have additional options under Affiliates > Totals.

  39. Stephane December 30, 2013 at 3:27 am #

Hi There, I’m using the affiliates pro plugin and I have a question regarding commissions. Is it possible that once a customer buys a product that customer is assigned to the affiliate for ever? Currently we can track a sale with the coupon code but if the same customer comes back to the store and rebuys but does not use the coupon code the affiliate will not get the commission, right? So is there any way to ensure that the affiliate will always get a commission regardless if the coupon was used or not?

    Thank you!

    • antonio December 30, 2013 at 6:59 am #

      Hi,
      you can use Affiliates Permanent.

OK I hope this is right. I chose the “text” version of my post in WordPress and pasted it.

    http://pastebin.com/SKKvHg9B

    • kento December 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm #

You can easily check this if you log in as an affiliate and review the page. Also please open a topic for this kind of question in the Affiliates Pro forum for premium support.

  41. Heather December 18, 2013 at 9:05 am #

As I said before, the problem is not with the beginning two or ending two which I did originally. (Tap into Motherhood or Mind Body downloads are fine). The problem is with the new two, Infertility Survival Kit and Coping With Kids. The first one uses your code, the rest the old code. So it is the middle four that are the problem.

    • antonio December 18, 2013 at 9:59 am #

      Sorry,
please use pastebin.com to show us the page’s code.
      cheers

  42. Heather December 17, 2013 at 8:09 pm #

Antonio that one is working even worse than the other. I am now getting

    http://onestepatatime.co.za?affiliates=2

Again, the direct page doesn’t take.

Is this because of the new version of WordPress? When I try and update Affiliates Pro it doesn’t work.

    • antonio December 18, 2013 at 8:58 am #

      Hi,
Is it already working? I have a look to the banner’s page, and it seems to work fine, you have for example “http://onestepatatime.co.za/shopping-cart?affiliates=5” and/or “http://onestepatatime.co.za/downloads/tap-into-motherhood/?affiliates=5”.
      cheers

  43. Heather December 17, 2013 at 1:27 pm #

i forgot to add the first and last two are fine (from before) it is the new ones in the middle that are the problem.

    • antonio December 17, 2013 at 2:01 pm #

      Hi,
      you can use:

      [affiliates_affiliate_link img_src="http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/yourbanner.png" render="code" url="http://onestepatatime.co.za/subscribe"/]

      cheers

  44. Heather December 17, 2013 at 1:12 pm #

    Hi
For some reason when I try and do some new banners it isn’t doing the specific url as it did before.

    This is the code: [affiliates_affiliate_link attachment_id="2320" render="code" url="http://onestepatatime.co.za/subscribe"/]
What it does is just give: “http://onestepatatime.co.za?affiliates=2” instead of the url I want.

The affiliate banner page is: http://onestepatatime.co.za/affiliate-banners/

  45. Brett December 15, 2013 at 8:41 pm #

We are trying to select which of your plugins to use for our woocommerce site and need some direction. We want customers to register on the site and associate themselves with a particular company and salesperson, and then as those customers place orders the company and salesperson are paid assigned commissions. Will one of you affiliate plugins help us do this? The orders would be subscription orders, so the company and sales person would need to have a commission reported each time. Thank you!

    • kento December 18, 2013 at 6:23 pm #

Try the free Affiliates and WooCommerce Integration Light first. This provides a fully functional affiliate system but the light integration doesn’t support recording referrals for recurring payments related to subscriptions. If the free versions are suitable, then the integration pack for WooCommerce would be your choice.

      Thanks for asking 🙂

  46. Mevento December 10, 2013 at 8:52 am #

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply, do you i have to add manually ?affiliate=XX for each product or there some manner to do it ?

How can i track sales made by affiliates ? Wich version i need to purchase ?
    Thank you

    • antonio December 9, 2013 at 6:52 pm #

      Hi,
you don’t need to create pages for every affiliate, you create an affiliate area page when affiliates can see her links and commissions.
If you use Woocommerce, you need Affiliates Pro Woocommerce Integration.
      cheers

In this case, can i do it, if yes how ?
        Thank you

  48. tadyk December 3, 2013 at 5:55 pm #

If I buy the Pro version with PayPal integration, is that all I would need? I wouldn’t have to buy the stand alone Pro version, would I?

What is the upgrade cost to purchase the Enterprise version if I have the Pro with PayPal integration?

Are you planning an integration with OptimizeMember?

    Thanks

    • kento December 4, 2013 at 12:28 pm #

Hi, you only need the to buy the integration pack as Pro is included with it. When you want to upgrade to Enterprise, you can do so at any time and you’ll have an equivalent discount for the difference (so you don’t have to pay full price for Enterprise – you will find that coupon in the downloads section once you have purchased an integration pack).

There are no plans to integrate with OptimizeMember at this time.

  49. Randy December 2, 2013 at 5:33 pm #

    Hello,
I’ve been trying to set a sliding rate so that for ex: If someone’s referral is between $150-200 they get x rate, $200-250 they get y.
I feel like Referral Amount Method is what I’m looking for, but I don’t know how to use it.

Can someone please tell me if this is a) possible, b) the right way to go, and c) if not, what I should do, providing this setup is possible.

    • kento December 4, 2013 at 10:51 am #

      Hi Randy,

I suppose this implementation is what you’re looking for: https://github.com/itthinx/affiliates-custom-method-minimum-rates

      • Randy December 4, 2013 at 2:51 pm #

So would I change the rate in the php file, or do I change it as an attribute?

        • kento December 4, 2013 at 6:36 pm #

As it provides a custom method (which you must select in Affiliates > Settings), you would determine the rates in the file – $rates right at the beginning defines the table.

  50. Yi November 28, 2013 at 7:15 am #

    Dear Kento.

I’m extremely interested in buying the Pro version for woocommerce integration.

I just have two question about payments. I want the commissions earned by affiliates to only be credit to be use on my site.

The affiliate refers my site, the referrals is completed and the affiliated earns $15 per referral to be use on my site only. No cash, no paypal payment.

    Second question:

What’s the integration with Facebook likes and it is there anyway to include a share a product button with link referral include on each product page?

    Thanks

    • antonio November 28, 2013 at 8:47 am #

      Hi,
1.- you could “pay” your customer with Woocommerce coupons, so if you want to pay $50 to affiliateA, you can create a coupon “discount50” and assign it to affiliateA.
2.- With Affiliates Share your affiliates can share their links throw social media.
      cheers
