      Hi netpaths,
yes, the plugin is compatible with the last wordpress and woocommerce versions.

  4. Aldrin August 16, 2015 at 9:47 am #

    Hi,

I have referrers that wants to send customers to our page, but want the customers to also see the referrers logo, banners and information at customers login page. The customer doesn’t have to see a custom website/header, just when logged in in login-area. This is because the referrers sell other products and wants the customers to be reminded about their products when customers login to our website.
Also some referrers may have products being sold on our website, and wants customers that they have referred to be reminded about their products.

So the banners etc has to be connected between referrer and customer, so the customer sees only it’s referrers banners etc.

Hope I’ve explained somehow understandable 🙂 Is this possible?

    Thanks

    • antonio August 17, 2015 at 6:34 am #

      Hi Aldrin,
automatically it’s not implemented. You could create a custom page/post for each affiliate, so they can share their custom page.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi,

We purchased the Affiliate Enterprise and wanted to know if it will work with the WooCommerce Tickets plugin specifically. Also, we were thinking of switching to the Divi theme, will the affiliate plugin be compatible? We have had problems with other plugins not functioning properly when integrated with that specific theme.

    I await your reply.

    Thanks.

    Tanice.

    • antonio August 17, 2015 at 6:41 am #

      Hi Tanice,
really I haven’t tried Affiliates with the tickets plugin and Divi theme, but It should work fine.
if someone has tried, please comment on it.
      Thanks,
      Antonio B.

  6. Mitch Gibson July 23, 2015 at 1:40 am #

    Hi

Really simple question, I need the following functionality, can you please advise if it can be done using the Pro plugin:

    1. Affilate sells our subscription product through his direct link.

    2. Customer signs up for $300 per month

    3. Affiliate is given a upfront fixed commission of $150 – PLUS 7% every month until subscription is cancelled through Woocommerce.

I look forward to your response

    • antonio July 24, 2015 at 11:07 am #

      Hi Mitch,
with the plugin you can set a rate. But it’s the same for fee price and every renovation price.
You could use the ‘activated_subscription’ hook and the Affiliates API to create you own solution and set a different referral when the subscription starts.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi guys,

Despite setting up the affiliate pro plugin correctly and receiving over 900 hits to the site from various affiliates (with a number of sales) there is not a single referral appearing for the referrer.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

I have around 10 sales that should have seen an affiliate get a referral hit but nothing.

    Would appreciate the help

    Hello.

I have some questions. Antonio, if you can provide us Spanish support pls said me.

1- How we can define that affiliates only recieve commissions when register referral complete and order? This mean, actually affiliates recieve comm if reff register and buy (option1) and if some user that already register before click link and later buy (option2). We need remove option 2, we need that affiliates cant get comm from users that not registers under their links before…how can make?

2- Is posible that affiliates can see their referrals usernames? what shortcode permit it? we tested all but not see…

    Thanks for your help.

    • antonio June 15, 2015 at 3:28 pm #

      Hi GTB,
sorry, in english. Please use the forums for support questions.
1.- Restrict Woocommerce commission only if the user has been referred by this affiliate is not possible with the default options. But you can use the Affiliates Pro API to create your own referral amount method.
      2.- You can use the [affiliates_affiliate_stats] shortcode.For example:[affiliates_affiliate_stats type="stats-referrals" data="user_login" /]
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

  11. MRA June 5, 2015 at 9:11 pm #

    Hey,

    1. Can I use this to set my customers up as affiliates? For instance, when someone checks out, can they automatically be set up as an affiliate or do they need to go through a separate sign up process to become an affiliate?

    2. Can affiliates get the same coupon code? I’d like affiliates to get $50 after each customer they refer checks out, but I’d also like to set it up so that they are able to give customers either (i) a link that gives the customer $50 off or (ii) a coupon code that gives the customer $50 off. If the link won’t work, can all the affiliates have the same coupon code?

    Thanks!

    • antonio June 8, 2015 at 2:56 pm #

      Hi MRA,
1.- You can use Affiliates Users to do it.
2.- You can create a Woocommerce coupon and assign it to an affiliate as attribute. So if an user uses this coupon, then the affiliate get a commission.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

  12. Ansirus May 31, 2015 at 12:45 pm #

    Hello Antonio,

I have a question on how to achieve my goal with your plugins. Please follow this use case scenario:

An affiliate User 1 gives his referal link to a new User 2.
This referal link gives the new User 2 a one-time % discount for the first purchase.
User 2 is registering and buying a product(s) from my WooCommerce shop with this discount automatically applied.
User 2 is immediately registered as a new Affiliate without any additional actions from his side.
User 1 gets automatically a new WooCommerce coupon for some % of the value of this transaction.
Users can display the total coupons amount they “earned” thanks to their referals in their account view in the frontend.

I am eagerly awaiting your reply whether this process can be implemented using your plugin(s) – and if yes, then which of them should I use.

    Thanks and best regards!

    • antonio June 2, 2015 at 7:48 am #

      Hi Ansirus,
you can assign woocommerce coupons to the affiliates. So if AffiliateA shares his coupon and an userB uses this coupon, then affiliateA get a commission, and userB a discount. Only with the links discounts will not be applied.
You can ‘pay’ to the affiliates creating coupons, but you need to do it manually, for example once a month when you’ve checked revenues.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

I am running the light version and I need to track more variables other than referrer ID. Does the pro version allow me to track additional variables? I have affiliates that want to pass over “click id” and other sub id’s. Can this be done in pro?

    • antonio May 14, 2015 at 7:27 am #

      Hi Phillip,
with the Enterprise version you can handle Campaigns with a second param. But you haven’t the option to add more variables.
      Regards,

    Hi =)

is there an integration with the WooThemes Product Vendors Plugin so that both commissions are in the same view?

    • antonio May 6, 2015 at 8:35 am #

      Hi Fabian,
sorry there isn’t an integration for this plugin.
Maybe Affiliates Products can be an alternative.

  15. Josh May 6, 2015 at 12:51 am #

Can I use Affiliates Pro to credit an affiliate account for a purchase that’s made on my website, based on affiliate territory? For instance, if a customer purchases a product from my website, and the affiliate “owns” that territory based on the customers zip code, credit the affiliate 10% of the purchase price?

Also, can that credit be applied to a purchase the affiliate makes on my website for products?

    • kento May 10, 2015 at 10:27 am #

      Hi Josh,

For referrals based on zip codes you would need to have a customization done, it doesn’t support this OOTB. For store credits instead of affiliate payments, you could use the Points and Rewards extension, the credits would need to be handled per affiliate manually at the end of each affiliate payment period (supporting it automatically is under consideration but not implemented yet).

      Cheers

I too am looking for this functionality. We are a manufacturer and we would like to sell our items on our site and give commission to the closest affiliate brick and mortar store based off of the customer’s address.

        For example:
An Affiliate who carries the products we manufacture would sign up and enter the address of their retail store(s).
A customer comes to our site and purchases an item.
When purchased, the affiliate who happens to be the closest geographically to the customer’s address will get the commission.

          Hi Mat,

Thanks for letting us know. This is something that you would have to have custom-built.

Affiliates and admin need to see the products purchased thru their links. Example – a customer goes thru Affiliate A’s link and purchases 3 items. How does WooCommerce track the product items with the affiliate? The store needs to pull the order and the affiliates need to know which items to pick up for their customer. Besides the customer’s PayPal receipt, I don’t see an itemized function. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, we’re also using the WooCommerce Points and rewards plugin (http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-points-and-rewards/ ) and wondering (hoping) if your affiliate plugin can pay affiliates in these points instead of cash? That would make life lots easier for us and our store!

    Thanks!

    Mark

    • kento April 18, 2015 at 12:01 pm #

      Hi Mark,

Currently you could do the following (an integration with Points & Rewards is already on our todo list) – when you review the totals, instead of making the monthly payments through PayPal etc., issue the corresponding points for each affiliate. This would be a manual process for now but you can test it already. You could also issue coupons that way if needed.

      Cheers

    Hello,

Let’s say that i want to assign a promo coupon for one of my affiliates.

Currently the commission for the affiliates are 10%.

I want to use a coupon which gives the buyer a 5% discount on total purchases.

Is it possible to temporary assign the affiliate a 5% commission instead of 10% just for that particular coupon?

Hope you get what i mean,

    Thanks.

    • kento April 15, 2015 at 1:44 pm #

      Hi Zach,

This isn’t possible because there we can’t indicate a different commission rate for specific coupons assigned. But I’ll take that as a suggestion for a possible improvement.

      Cheers

      • Zach April 16, 2015 at 1:53 am #

        Hi Kento,

    Hi Antonio,

Do you offer your own or does Affiliate Pro integrate with any known outgoing XML feeds? A client of ours has Woocommerce products that he wants to advertise on hist affiliate partner websites with title, image, description and price displayed for each product. When one of the affiliate’s customers clicks on one of our products at their website, their customer would be directed to my client’s website to make the actual purchase. We of course want the sales commission to go to that affiliate referrer. That’s our ideal system anyways. Thanks.

    • kento April 20, 2015 at 6:02 pm #

      Hi Mark,

Currently not, although it should be quite simple to integrate with an existing solution by adding the affiliate ID to the URLs presented in the feed.

      Cheers

Hi, I have a customer to build a eCommerce site for and their sales consultants to put orders for customer online. Is it possible to associate each sales persona as an affiliate, still have customer information and allow each affliate/ sales consultant to view and track their orders?

    Thanks!

    • kento April 20, 2015 at 5:14 pm #

      Hi,

I think an OOTB solution wouldn’t be ideal although you could make something like that work. If you want to allow the sales consultants to input the orders after visiting their own affiliate link, you must allow them to create “Auto-referrals” – you’ll find an option for that under Affiliates > Settings > Referrals – note that you can use any of the version for that, the free one included.

      Cheers

  26. Josh April 6, 2015 at 3:48 pm #

    Hello,

Pre-sale question. We have many of our customers that by pass their referring affiliates website/banner and come straight to our website when they’re ready to order. Is there an option to have a way to select what affiliate is referring them on checkout? OR, a better work around that you know of to “catch” those buyers that did not come directly from their referring affiliate’s website/banner?

    Thanks.

    • antonio April 6, 2015 at 8:01 pm #

      Hi Josh,
you can use Woocommerce coupons to associate the order to an affiliate (editing the affiliate you can add the coupon to assign commissions to this affiliate when someone uses this coupon).
You have available ‘Direct’ affiliate to get commissions when the customer has not used or a link or a coupon.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hello,
We already tried that. This is the message we get.

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    • kento April 3, 2015 at 10:03 pm #

      Hi Khalil,

There are lots of different reasons for this error happening. Hacked site, PHP notices, insufficient memory, full database, … google it and you’ll see a few topics on that. You might want to enable debugging to see if there are any error messages showing up in the debug.log. As Antonio’s suggested, if you need specific help with that, you need to post a topic in the forums providing details – and the contents of that debug.log would be something you’d be asked for, so it’s a good start.

      Cheers

In Affiliates->Notifications you can customize the emails.

Sorry that I posted the question here as the product I purchase was for JigoShop, however, do you mean that you advised JigoShop that the version distribution would be done through your site? As the buyer, I wasn’t aware of your site.

If distribution should be done through your site, why would you allow JigoShop to sell your outdated software? After purchasing from JigoShop, I now discover that the version that I have is outdated and I can’t get updates?

    • kento March 24, 2015 at 8:33 pm #

Thanks Lee, in fact we don’t – Jigoshop’s ownership changed last year and I’m still waiting for a response from the new owners related to that and other issues. Sorry but it’s beyond our control, we have centralized distribution of the plugins on our site quite a while ago and they are aware of that.

  33. Lee March 19, 2015 at 6:16 pm #

    Hello,
I purchased the affiliates pro module from JigoShop (an outdated version by the way), and wrote them about updating and other features have have not received a response. Do you provide support for JigoShop purchasers?

    • kento March 19, 2015 at 7:53 pm #

      Hi,

I’d recommend to purchase it here, the version distributed there is as you say outdated and we advised a year ago that distribution would be done through our site exclusively.

We want ability to say a user can refer x number of new subscribers and they get a $x credit towards their account. Like if a user refers 5 new people that subscribe, the user then gets a $20 credit on their account. That way, next month, the recurring subscription will not bill them for that month.

  35. Bonnie Alberts March 17, 2015 at 4:13 pm #

Can you tell me if this plug-in supports multiple currencies?

    • kento March 17, 2015 at 5:28 pm #

Yes it does, but it would be appropriate to check your requirements to be able to give a full answer. Which currencies would you be using and do you plan to use any specific extension for that?

      • Bonnie Alberts March 17, 2015 at 5:38 pm #

I will be using US Dollar, Sterling, and Euro at a minimum. I am using Aelia Currency Switcher for WooCommerce and Aelia Tax Display by Country for WooCommerce – http://aelia.co/shop/currency-switcher-woocommerce/
        and
        http://aelia.co/shop/tax-display-by-country-for-woocommerce/

        • kento March 17, 2015 at 6:21 pm #

Thanks Bonnie, I think there was some kind of an issue with that plugin although that might have been resolved by now. I’d suggest you try the free versions Affiliates + Affiliates WooCommerce Light together with Aelia’s plugin, if that works well, then you can also use Affiliates Pro.

    Antonio,

I installed the Affiliates Export Referrals plugin and got the below error message on the output. Can you let me know how to fix this? Thanks.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_tablename() on a non-object in /home/forthefaithful/public_html/wp-content/plugins/Affiliates-Export-Referrals-master/class-affiliatesexport.php on line 47

    • antonio March 16, 2015 at 11:16 am #

      Hi Peter,
please give us your WordPress, Woocommerce and Affiliates version.
      thanks!

  38. Ed March 12, 2015 at 4:26 am #

If I create a New Attribute for a specific affiliate and change their referral rate to .15 when the standard default referral rate is .10, does the new affiliate attribute referral rate (.15) overrule the default rate -or- does it add them together (.15 + .10 = .25)?

Also, just to be clear, .15 = 15%, correct?

    • antonio March 12, 2015 at 7:14 am #

      Hi Ed,
the value is overridden ( it will be 15% ).
      Regards

I have Affiliates Pro in my Downloads section but not Affilates Pro Woocommerce Integration. I’ve upgraded Affiliates Pro (v2.8.0) and would also like to upgrade the integration plugin to the latest version too (v1.4.1). Should the integration plugin be available in my Downloads section as well or do I need to purchase a new Affiliates Pro license? I’m not sure if my Affiliates Pro license has expired since it’s available in Downloads.

    • antonio March 7, 2015 at 11:11 am #

      Hi Helen,
integrations system has changed. Please update to Affiliates 2.8. In section Affiliates->Settings:Integrations you have available all integrations.
      thanks.

      • Helen March 7, 2015 at 12:34 pm #

        Thanks for the info.

  40. James March 5, 2015 at 7:02 am #

Ok I’m sure I have latest version. How/where do I set it so it only calculates on converted paid sales. Right now it’s paying on every referral.

    • antonio March 5, 2015 at 7:56 am #

If you need to disable get commissions when a new user is registered, you can do it in Affiliates->User Registration.
      Regards

      • James Cashat March 5, 2015 at 10:41 am #

The item was not selected when I looked. When I was testing the cart I entered two items in. I had used the affiliate link the day before and therefore it was credited to the affiliate. But payment was not completed. I dont want to have to validate every purchase as I have a few customers who do not complete payment.

        • James March 5, 2015 at 10:48 am #

I was using 2.7.1 checking now

          • James March 5, 2015 at 11:11 am #

Wow that was fun…. After figuring out how to manually install ithinx updates and then finally getting woo commerce integration. I think I might have this licked.

            • antonio March 7, 2015 at 11:02 am #

              Perfect!

        • antonio March 7, 2015 at 11:01 am #

sorry, I had misunderstood the question.
in Affiliates->Settings:referrals you can set the default referral status to ‘Pending’. So in Affiliates->Woocommerce Integration you can auto-adjust referral status according to the order status.
          Regards

  41. James Cashat March 4, 2015 at 9:56 pm #

Ok I have setup and purchased affiliates pro. I had it working fine on WP eCommerce but now that I swapped to woo commerce it is awarding commission with just referral, not a sale payment. I watched video and I see that there is an additional plugin for woo commerce called Affiliates WooCommerce Integration but I can not locate it in the add plugin of wp or here on your website. Help what am I missing. It worked so perfectly before I know its something small 🙂

    • antonio March 5, 2015 at 6:46 am #

      Hi James,
if you have installed the last version (Affiliates Pro 2.8.0) in Affiliates->Settings:Integrations you have available the Woocommerce Integration.
      Regards

  42. andrew March 4, 2015 at 6:33 am #

The coupon section in the support documents does not work.

Could you please explain how to link a coupon code to an affiliate

Also when a affiliate logs into the affiliate area, how do I make it so the first think they see is the referral table not the affiliate link information

    cheers

    • antonio March 4, 2015 at 6:52 am #

      Hi Andrew,
To link a coupon to an affiliate:
      Woocommerce->Coupons: Create a Woocommerce coupon. e.g. REF10
Affiliates->Manage Affiliates: Edit your affiliate and add the ‘coupons’ attribute: REF10
If a customer uses REF10 as coupon then your affiliate will get a commission.
Relating to the affiliate area in Pages you can edit your page to change the order.
      cheers

  44. mashfiq March 3, 2015 at 5:38 am #

    Hi,
how many tiers/ labels it support?

    • antonio March 3, 2015 at 10:57 am #

      Hi,
there isn’t levels limit, but it is not recommended over 10.
Remember that you need Affiliates Enterprise version to have multi-tiers.
      cheers

  45. Fred McMurray February 23, 2015 at 10:02 pm #

Can Affiliates Pro handle 2 tiers of affiliates? For example, I sign up as an affiliate and then I sign another level of affiliates up underneath me. I would only need two levels of affiliates.

    • antonio February 24, 2015 at 7:29 am #

      Hi,
multi-tiers are available in Affiliates Enterprise version (in your downloads page you have a coupon to upgrade from pro to enterprise)
      cheers

  46. jeremy February 23, 2015 at 6:04 am #

Hi, would like to know will there be free updates when i purchase. And if so, how long will the free updates be?

  47. James Erickson February 17, 2015 at 4:01 am #

You mention this plugin works with WooCommerce subscriptions, are there options to pay either ongoing commission, or one time (only on first order) commission?

I’m looking forward to giving this a shot!

    Thanks,

    • kento February 17, 2015 at 12:30 pm #

      Hi James,

It depends on how the system is configured. You can use the free versions to test it and consider if the additional features and integrations available with the Pro or Enterprise versions are necessary. In any version, you can configure the time during which referrals are valid (referral timeout setting). Regarding Subscriptions, the advanced integration which comes with Pro/Enterprise allows to determine if and for how long referrals are credited on recurring payments related to referred subscriptions.

      Cheers

    Hi,
I am in the process of migrating my web site from Ecwid to woocommerce. I have a current service key. However, I have taken over the web site from another administrator and do not have the login info to the download area. Can we obtain the login info to download the Affiliate Pro program or once I install WooCommerce will the Affiliate Pro automatically work with that? Let me know what email address or how I can send you our service key so you may check it’s validity.

    thanks
    Matthew Dell

    • kento February 16, 2015 at 8:39 pm #

      Hi Matthew,

The service key will work but you’ll need access here to be able to post in the forums if support for the Pro version is needed. Note that logins should not be transferred as these represent customer accounts, if you need to have access you should purchase the corresponding product.

      Cheers

  49. karen February 13, 2015 at 11:29 pm #

Does this plugin (or do you have one), that could do the following:

    – Automatically pay the affiliate 5% of whatever the total order amount is (using the affiliate coupon code at checkout).

    Thanks.

    • antonio February 16, 2015 at 10:59 am #

      Hi,
      yes, you need to set:
Affiliates->Settings: Set Referral Rate and 0.05 as value.
      – Create a woocommerce coupon.
      – Assign the coupon to an affiliate in Affiliates->Manage Affiliates editing him and adding the attribute.
      cheers

      • karen February 16, 2015 at 9:16 pm #

Will this automatically PAY the affiliate for me? Or do I have to manually transfer the money to my affiliate?

        Thanks.

        • antonio February 17, 2015 at 9:13 am #

Affiliates plugin doesn’t process payments, you need to manually transfer the money to the affiliates.
          cheers

  50. Karen February 12, 2015 at 11:03 pm #

Hi, Can any of your versions be used on the Woocommerce auction theme? ie can it track the auction process and only pay out on successful auctions?

    • kento February 16, 2015 at 8:28 pm #

      Hi Karen,

You can try the free Affiliates plugin with the Affiliates WooCommerce Light integration (both can be installed directly from your WordPress Dashboard). Let me know if you have questions after giving that a try.

      Cheers
