Can any of your plugin combinations do one of the following?

Assign commissions to an affiliate per product category in Woocommerce in addition to assigning a secondary commission to another affiliate on a per product basis?

    Or

Automatically Assign a commission to the person who creates a product and assign a secondary commission on an additional selected affiliate?

    • antonio December 6, 2017 at 5:05 pm #

      Hi Ruben,
With the new Affiliates 3.x rates table system, you can set custom rates per affiliates and product or category. Please have a look at the documentation page.
But only if the customer visits the affiliate link or uses the affiliate coupon, then this affiliate will get commission.
If you want that another affiliate get always commissions with a product, because the affiliate sells the product through your page, or another reason, you have available the Affiliates Products addons.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

Sorry I wasn’t very clear. With Affiliates Enterprise and Affiliates Products addon, can I assign two commissions to varying people for one product which can maybe happen with your multi-tier feature?

I don’t actually want to use any commissions via affiliate links. What I actually need is a way to track commissions for multiple people (some of which vary) for one product.

Not sure how your Affiliates Products addon and the multi tier affiliate system and groups work exactly, but this is a more complete idea of what I need.

First, I want the creator of the product to be assigned a commission no matter what which it appears that the Affiliates Products addon will do but correct me if I’m wrong.

But here’s where it get tricky. I need a secondary commission to go to one of several different people, depending on the category of the product. I know that I can setup multi-tier system for multiple commissions and I’m assuming that I can put the “Affiliate Products addon” affiliate under another affiliate so they’d both get a commission.

The main issue I see with this is that even with the multi-tier affiliate commissions, I need the affiliate commission to be applied to a different person depending on the field the product. Since I don’t think I can make someone be in the downline of multiple (6) people, I’m assuming that it has to be a straight line for the tiers.

So, with that said, with the Rates system, can I create a long downline with all my varying multiple people (6) and assign a different rate rules so that if the product is in one category, it will have a commission, but all the other people’s commissions will be set to zero (except the person at the bottom assigned to the product via “Affiliate Products addon”) when in that specific category?

Example: There is one person who’s assigned to a product that always get a commission for that product. I add that person into the downline of Person F who’s downline starts with “Person A” who’s over “Person B” who’s over “Person C” who’s over “Person D” who’s over “Person E” who’s over “Person F”. There are also “Category A”, “Category B”, “Category C”, “Category D”, “Category E, “Category F” that correspond to the People mentioned in the last sentence. So can I make a rate rule that says, if a product is in “Category F” then set the commission for Category F to 10 percent and set the other categories A-E to zero. And if the product is in Category E, then set the commission of category E to 10 percent and set the other Categories A-D & F to zero?

I hope that’s clear because I know the scenario is strange.

If a product is purchased from a certain category, then I want to award

          Hi Ruben,

I thought it would work but after reviewing this further I think it won’t, or at least it will be a bit complex. I would assume you’d try to use:

          – Affiliates Enterprise – for multilevel functionality
          – Affiliates Products – used to relate Affiliate A with Product A
          – Affiliates Products Process Tiers – this has Affiliates Enterprise process tiers when a referral is recorded via Affiliates Products
          – WooCommerce – we’ll assume this is used to sell your products

          – Product A is related to Affiliate A, its ‘creator’
          – Product AA is also related to Affiliate A
          – Affiliate X should earn 10% on sales of Product A
          – Affiliate Y should earn 20% on sales of Product AA

The problem I see here is that you can’t assign Affiliate X *and* Affiliate Y as having referred Affiliate A. This is a problem because you’d have to have Affiliate X in Affiliate A’s upline to earn a commission on the products that are related to Affiliate A. But you’d also need to have Affiliate Y in Affiliate A’s upline for the same reason.

A solution for this would be to have X and Y in different levels of A’s upline: Affiliate X > Affiliate Y > Affiliate A

You could create a couple of rates for Affiliate X and Affiliate Y to cover for commissions for the products. But this is with just three affiliates and it feels a bit hackish to me. If you have many affiliates, the whole thing would get very complex. Maybe the easiest for you would be a system that lets you relate several partners to the same product?

          Cheers

          • Ruben December 13, 2017 at 5:34 pm #

This is a little hacky because I’d be using your system only for commission tracking and less for affiliate tracking.

But what you are saying is what I’m trying to do.
“A solution for this would be to have X and Y in different levels of A’s upline: Affiliate X > Affiliate Y > Affiliate A”

It’s not quite as complicated as you’d imagine because most of the top tiers would be only one single affiliate. It would look something like this:

            https://www.screencast.com/t/MupoFAnd

I believe that I could setup the rates to change for the department by having a category for each of the top tiered upline and base the rate change on products in a category.

I should then be able to create two registration pages. One where sales people sign up that will automatically cookie them to the lowest department tier. And another registration page where the sales people actually use a link to sign the product creators up under themselves.

Does that make sense and does that sound like it would work?

            • Kento December 13, 2017 at 6:08 pm #

I still think it’s a bit complex to handle. Wouldn’t it be easier if you could just assign one product to several affiliates via Affiliates Products? Maybe this is something we could add within a foreseeable timeframe.

              • Ruben December 13, 2017 at 8:19 pm #

Unfortunately that wouldn’t work because I’m using multi vendor site and I need the products the vendors create to be automatically assigned to the appropriate department so the right department get it’s commission. (I’d handle commissions to vendors via the multivendor plugin so I don’t need to track their commission because it would be taken out with the other plugin so that’s why I want to set theirs to zero).

I need commissions counted and disperse for products for specific departments. So I thought that I could do this with the Rates system and Tiered system in Enterprise and have it assigned automatically via the Products addon. But it sounds like your saying that this is going to get really clucky really fast.

Is it because using the Products addon, creates all of this information for every single product:
                http://docs.itthinx.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Affiliates-Products-WooCommerce.png

so using it on a multi vendor type site is going to become very resource heavy?

                • Kento December 13, 2017 at 10:40 pm #

Ok, as much as I might like to recommend you a solution based on our system, in this case I would really advise against it. Our rates are really versatile, but I think your requirements call for a customized solution. It’s just too divergent from what our system is providing for. What I’d recommend for you is to get help from a consultant and/or developer to establish the best solution and customization for your exact requirements. It’s then not a question of which system to use, but rather to use the system that is best prepared to create a specific solution for you.

      • Ruben December 9, 2017 at 1:12 pm #

ok, I think I found a solution but need your advice to know if you think it will work.

I actually don’t want your affiliate system so much to be based on links to assign the affiliates. I need 5 different affiliates paid only if something is purchased in 5 corresponding categories. For example, Affiliate 7 being paid (10%), only if something is purchased in category 7 or Affiliate 6 is only paid (10% also) if something is purchased in category 6. Then I need another affiliate paid for signing up affiliates (10%), and the last affiliate paid if someone purchases from a product they created. Please tell me if you think this will work.

Setup tiered affiliates linearly like this (where Affiliate 7 is the top of the affiliate list and the ones below Affiliate 7 are their downline):

Affiliate Product Creator Tier. (default commission to 70% and this tier is the downline of Affiliate Recruiter Tier and is managed by the “affiliates products” addon)
Affiliate Recruiter Tier (default commission to 10% and this tier is the downline of Affiliate 3 Tier)
Affiliate 3 Tier (default commission to 0 and this tier is the downline of Affiliate 4 Tier)
Affiliate 4 Tier (default commission to 0 and this tier is the downline of Affiliate 5 Tier)
Affiliate 5 Tier (default commission to 0 and this tier is the downline of Affiliate 6 Tier)
Affiliate 6 Tier (default commission to 0 and this tier is the downline of Affiliate 7 Tier)
Affiliate 7 Tier (default commission to 0)

There’s only one affiliate for each Tier 3-7 and those affiliates are preconfigured and no one sees them on the site. Affiliates 3-7 are a downline of each other with Affiliate 7 in the top “Affiliate 7 Tier”. Then I create Rates that make it so if someone buys in Category 7, then Affiliate 7’s commission (in the Affiliate 7 Tier) is set to 10%. Likewise, if something is purchased in Category 4, then Affiliate 4’s commission (in the Affiliate 4 Tier) is set to 10%, and so on and so forth. I need this more for commission management for certain categories. After these are setup, I just sign up the “Affiliate Recuiter Tier” Affiliates under “Affiliate 3” who’s in affiliate tier 3. (Having the rate rules kind of simulates one affiliate under multiple affiliates that coorespond to a category.)

“Affiliate Recruiter Tier” is always set as 10%.

Finally, “Affiliate Product Creator Tier” is signed up under the “Affiliate Recruiter Tier” using a link and I use the “Affiliates Products” addon to assign the Product Creator as an affiliate to everything they post (50%)

        Examples:
So if someone buys from a the site from “Category 3”, then “Affiliate 3” (not affiliates 4-7) gets 10%, “Affiliate Recruiter Teir” gets 10%, and “Product Creator Tier” gets 70%.

And if someone buys from a the site from “Category 5”, then “Affiliate 5” (not affiliates 3, 4, 6, & 7) gets 10%, “Affiliate Recruiter Teir” gets 10%, and “Product Creator Tier” gets 70%.

Do you see any issues with this setup?

If I use the Affiliates Products addon, will that still trigger the upline? And will the upline still be triggered if part of the downline is at zero?

Also, Is there any way that the Rates settings allow you to set rates based on Tags or Attributes? If not, how hard would that be to add since tags and attributes are so similar to categories?

        Thanks

        • antonio December 11, 2017 at 4:28 pm #

          Hi Ruben,
With the new Affiliates 3.x version using the new Rates section, and using the Groups plugin, you can select custom rates per category and group, so if create a group for each category, and assings the affiliates to the gorups, then only if the affiliate is in this group and a product in this category is purchased, then the affiliate gets this custom commission. But this system needs that the user visits the affiliate’s link.
          Could it be a solution?
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

          • Ruben December 11, 2017 at 5:47 pm #

            Antonio,

Are you saying that the rates logic, will (specifically in the upline), if the intial purchase was purchased using the “Affiliates Products addon” and not a link?

            Ruben

            • Kento December 13, 2017 at 5:25 pm #

It would require the Affiliates Product Process Tiers plugin activated which I’ve mentioned in my earlier reply (access to it is included with Affiliates Enterprise, it simply enables processing referrals via tiers that come via Affiliates Products).

Hi, Do affiliates have to fill out a different form or can they register using the standard wordpress registration?

I want to turn customers into affiliates.

    So:

Customer buys product. Customer can generate a coupon code form their account page and give it to their friends. Their friends use coupon and receive a discount, original custom receives points or money or credit?

Is this possible or anything like this?

    Thanks

    • antonio December 4, 2017 at 4:26 pm #

      Hi Alex,
Normally the affiliates need to register as affiliate from the affiliate-area page generated. But if you need to automatically the new customers join to the affiliate program, you have available the Affiliates Users addon.
From the affiliate-area page, the affiliates can see their custom links and banners. Also, you can assign Woocommerce coupons to the affiliates, so they can share this coupon. To assign coupon, you need to edit the affiliate from the Affiliates->Manager Affiliates section. If you want to do this automatically, you have available the Affiliates Coupons addons.
The affiliates get money as commissions, but remember that the Affiliates plugin doesn’t process the payments. You need to pay them by Paypal or another system (you have a ‘Generates mass payment file‘ option that you can use to process the payment easily from Paypal).
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

        Hi,

        Thanks for the quick reply.

So if i have the affiliate users and coupons addon; when a customer logs into their account, they will have a coupon they can generate and share?

        Thanks

        • antonio December 6, 2017 at 4:54 pm #

Yes, when the new affiliate is registered, automatically a new coupon is created and assigned to him. So from the affiliate-area page he can see her coupon.
In the documentation page you can see exactly how the plugin works.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

    Hi,

I see that we can make a woocommerce couponcode and when the customer use this give him the discount of that code and give the affiliate a commission, is that right?

I cant see this in the video?

    • antonio November 16, 2017 at 5:10 am #

      Hi Idi,
Yes, you can do it with Affilates Pro. Sorry there isn’t a video, but there is a documentation page.
You can add the coupons manually, but you have available the Affiliates Coupons addon available if you want to do it automatically.

    Hello Sir,

i’m interested in your plugin: please answer me:

    1) each referral could have a link to share on social (facebook etc.) and when a visitor buy a product through the referral link, he get a commission of 20% of sale?

    2) the visitors must register before buy or they can register in checkout page and the referral always get the commission? is possibile give commision for guest sales?

    3) the commission is for every sale or only for the first?

    4) the plugin support the italian language? can i translate with .po/.mo files?

    Please let me know,

    best regards

    • antonio September 27, 2017 at 1:48 pm #

      Hi Alessandro,
1.- Yes, every affiliate has a custom link, something like: http://www.example.com/?affiliate=23 (you can customize the ‘affiliate’ param from the settings). You can set a general commission and custom commission per affiliate.
2.- It’s not necessary that the customer is registered. The referral (commission) is generated from registered and guest sales.
3.- Commissions are generated for every sale while the affiliate’s cookie exists.
4.- Yes, italian is supported by .mo/.po files.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

        Hello Sir,

thanks a lot for your answer, let’s me ask the last things:

        – The commision is generated also if the guest is register from the woocommerce checkout page? i ask this because i had bad experience with this features with others referrals plugins.

        – The referrals can see the amount of their commissions?

        – When a no-referral user buy something with a referral link, it become a referral or not?

        – With your plugin i can setup commission only for certain products?

Sorry for all the questions, but i need an answer.

        Best Regards

        • antonio September 28, 2017 at 7:57 am #

          Hi Alessandro,
Just one annotation. When you say “referrals”, we call them “affiliates”. ‘Affiliates’ are the people, and ‘referrals’ are the commissions in our system.
          – Yes, the commissions are generated with guest users too.
          – The affiliates can see their commissions from they affiliates-area page. You have a lot of shortcodes for customize this page.
          – No. If you want that all your new WordPress users become an affiliate, you have available the Affiliates Users addon.
          – Yes. If you set a general commission of 0, you can set custom commissions per each product.
Do not worry, ask everything you need.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

Thanks a lot Sir, only the really last question: I see that i can set a custom commission for each product.

Can i setting for each affiliate a custom commission for certain products categories?

For example: Affiliate 1 can get commissions only for dress, affiliate 2 only for shoes. This is possible?

Thanks for your attention and best regards

Hi, I’d like to buy the Affiliates Pro, but it’s not celar if it will do what I need, then I ask:
    1) If I buy and install the PRO, will it sync all previous orders, rejecting those that were cancelled?
    2) Will it somehow notify when the commision for a given affiliate has gone above a threshold defined by me?
    3) Will it be possible for the affiliate to get notified for each purchase done through his affiliate code?
    4) Less confusing interface would help a lot, it’s really hard to use the light version.

    • antonio July 28, 2017 at 8:36 am #

      Hi Tudo,
1.- If you are using the free Affiliates version, all the referrals and affiliates already created will continue to exist in the new version. But orders that were not registered as commissions will not be now.
2 & 3.- From the Notifications section affiliates and administrator can receive notifications when new referrals are recorded (there isn’t a minimum threshold).
4.- We will try to improve it, thanks for letting us know.
      Kind Regards,

          Hi Antonio,

We’re completely stuck and ready to move to another tool.

We have emailed support and are getting nowhere. We just want to use your tool as indicated.

          All settings have been reviewed.

We followed instructions and can’t get any test orders to work or track.

          Please help.

    Hi,

We set up the plugin (at least we thought so), made an affiliate.

We see traffic but the 3 test sales we did using the link did not track any sales. We tested running incognito and without.

    We’re stuck.

    Help.

    • antonio May 25, 2017 at 7:08 am #

      Hi Jesse,
If you are testing with the same user who is the affiliate, please check that you have selected the ‘Allow auto-referrals’ option from Affiliates->Settings:Referrals. And please check this documentation page.
If the problem persists, please use the forums for support questions.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

        Antonio,

If you give us an url, we will try this.

  12. Andy May 23, 2017 at 11:02 pm #

    Thanks Antonio.

    I have a few more follow-up questions:

    1. Automatic customer inclusion in affiliate program – when a new customer places an order, he is automatically made an affiliate and receives an automatically generated affiliate coupon code, which we will display on the order confirmation page.

    2. Checkout referral – for cases when a customer refers a friend without using a voucher code/link, we need an extra email input field on the WooCommerce checkout page for new customers to nominate if an affiliate referred them, which will automatically establish an affiliate relationship between the two (affiliateWP has this feature).

    Thanks again.

    • antonio May 24, 2017 at 10:34 am #

      Hi Andy,
1.- With Affiliates Users, when the new user is created, he is automatically joined to the affiliates program. The coupon is not displayed on the confirmation page, but you could use the [affiliates_fields] shortcode to display this info on this page. Usually this information is displayed on the affiliate-area page.
2.- You can use the Affiliates Woo Referrer plugin to add this extra field. But I really recommend using the coupons as it encourages users to make new purchases.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi,

I’m looking to implement an affiliate program in our Woocommerce store, and I just have a few questions about your plugin’s features.

I’ve written a few things we’re looking for in our affiliate program: will all this work with your Woocommerce plugin?

    1. Checkout page of new customer order to include message about becoming an affiliate, along with social share links and coupon code to share.
    2. Affiliate relationship should be triggered by either Affiliate link or coupon code used at checkout by ‘Friend’.
    3. Fraud protection – check IP address, email address and cookies of new ‘Friend’ purchase against existing customers before confirming Affiliate status.
    4. Reward points are to be on a per-product basis (e.g. when ‘Friend’ buys X products, Affiliate gets Y free points/products).
    5. Lifetime reward system – points to be earned by Affiliate for all future purchases of Friend. This needs to have a time decay basis per Friend (e.g. Affiliate earns X points per Friend’s purchase during the first 12 months, and Y points for that Friend’s purchases thereafter).
    6. Expiry date for reward points earned.
    7. Gamify Affiliates’ My Account page with leader-board of Affiliates, no. of people referred, number of points earned, number of points available
    8. Send periodic reminder emails to Affiliates when they have points to spend.
    9. Ability to invite all past customers / custom email list to become Affiliates.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    • antonio May 22, 2017 at 9:35 am #

      Hi Andrew,
1.- The users can join to the affiliates program from the Affiliate Area page, where you have the [affiliates_registration] shortcode. Using the Affiliates Users plugin, all new users become affiliates automatically (but no message is added on the checkout page)
2.- Yes, the affiliates can share their custom links, or custom coupons. You need to create the coupons manually, and assign them to the affiliates. If you want to do it automatically, you have available the Affiliates Coupons plugin.
      3.- From Affiliates->Settings:Referrals you can enable/disable auto-referrals and auto-coupons.
4.- You can set a default rate based on the cart net price, or use a custom rate per products. Remember that Affiliates doesn’t process the payment. The affiliates get money that you need to pay manually (ex. once a month), or creating coupons with these values.
5.- By default this option is not available, but you could create your own custom method using the Affiliates API.
6.- Here you have a plugin available.
7.- You have available a lot of shortcodes that you can use for customize the affiliate-area page.
8.- From the Notifications section you can customize the email that the affiliates receive when they get commissions, but there is not a reminder email (remember that they can not spend directly the money, you need to create the coupons, or send the money).
9.- With Affiliates Users plugin you have the option to join all existing user to the affiliates program.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Presales questions:

    1. Can I have products in my store connected with specific affiliates? For example:
Customer A arrives at my store (it doesn’t matter how they arrive there, they don’t have to arrive through an affiliate link). Customer A buys Product B (a product connected to Affiliate B) and Product C (a product connected with Affiliate C). I need Affiliate B and Affiliate C to automatically receive the credit for the sale of those products. Each affiliate will be connected with a few different products.

    2. Does the plugin have PayPal Mass Pay?

    3. Does the plugin work with WooCommerce?

    Thank you!

    • antonio April 3, 2017 at 5:57 am #

      Hi Jenn,
1.- You can do it using Affiliates Pro with Affiliates Products.
2.- From the Totals section you have a button to generate a Paypal mass payment file. Remember that Affiliates doesn’t process the payment.
3.- Sure, Affiliates Pro includes the Woocommerce integration Pro.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

      Hi Carolyn,
Please check that you have not selected the ‘Allow duplicate referrals’ option from Affiliates->Settings:Referrals
With Affiliates Pro you have premium support using the Forums. Please use it.

  17. Gwendola February 23, 2017 at 1:15 am #

I want to reward my affiliates with a % of the total value of the ordered products excl Taxes by customers coming from a certain region. So I do not want to bother the custormer but as soon as a customer places an order and he comes from a certain region, my affelicate will receive a % of the total order and of every order this customers makes coming from this region.

    is that possible?

    • antonio February 23, 2017 at 11:38 am #

      Hi Gwendola,
The referrals are based on net price (Taxes excluded).
The default calculation method is not based on regions. Using the Affiliates API you could create your own custom method based on the regions.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi there

I consider purchasing Affiliate Pro. Has it been testing with any Woocommerce multi-vendor plugin?

    Br

    • antonio January 2, 2017 at 5:47 pm #

      Hi Joachim,
Can you explain what you want to do? Maybe Affiliates Products with Affiliates Pro is a solution.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

      • Joachim January 3, 2017 at 5:27 am #

        Hi Antonio,

It is a bit complicated but I will try to explain. I want to work with several vendors in my store and I am looking for the following setup:

        COMMISSION/AFFILIATE SETUP
On each sale vendors receive the price of the product minus a fixed amount and 2 different commission/affiliate rates (one fixed rate and one that varies)
        For example:
        Price of product: 10
        Fixed amount 3
Commission 1: 10% of product price
Commission 2: 0-25% of product price

        So if commission 2 is 20%, the vendor receives 10 minus 3 minus 1 (10%) minus 2 (20%) = 4

So just to be clear: The fixed amount and commission rate 1 is always the same and the amount is just held for the store/platform owner (which is me) and commission 2 is the actual affiliate rate which will vary from product and affiliate.

        AFFILIATES:
I will work with a selected group of affiliates who should easily be able to log in and get their affiliate link for a certain product. I will specify one affiliate rate for each product. The affiliates should mainly receive coupons for certain product categories as payment but I would like the ability to pay them in real money too.

        VENDORS:
The vendors don’t need a lot of permissions since I will probably add their products for them myself. But I would like them to be able to see the stock status and the assigned product price and affiliate rates (if possible). I would also really like the vendors to be paid instantly via Paypal. Or at least be able to see how much they can expect in their next payout and when they will receive it.

I realize that it is a bit complicated but it is very hard to see how much of this functionality your products could offer. But maybe you can point me in the right direction 🙂

        Thanks!

        • antonio January 3, 2017 at 10:23 am #

          Hi,
With Affiliates Products plugin you can assign a product to an affiliate and set a custom rate. With this association, when a product is sold, this affiliate always get a commission. You can use this as your vendors scenario.
Related to affiliates commissions, you can set a custom rate per affiliate or per product, but not custom values per every affiliate in every product.
You can set rates, but not two different values per commission.
Using the Affiliates API you can create a custom method for recreate your commissions system, but by default is not available.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

  19. Dandi December 2, 2016 at 10:08 pm #

I want to manage products in WooCommerce and I have a list of Affiliates (Users)
Every User can choose a specified products to promote and every product needs to have a specified custom link for every user/affiliate.
For every product that I’ll sell I need to track affiliate info (Know user) and manage a % to pay according to every product/user %

Means that User X can have specified % on product A that is different for same product A that is sell by user Y.
So every affiliate user has differents % value for every products in WooCommer. Is it possible to manage these things?

Can I see report (for specified dates from … to …) with payout details of every Affiliate …following % that I wrote before (different for every product and for every affiliate)

  20. il_dandi November 28, 2016 at 4:08 pm #

I need to know if this plug-ing can manage this:

I’ve a list of products in shop
    I’ve list of users WP
Every user has own affiliate link for every Shop product.

When someone buy in Shop I need to know if every buy comes from an affiliate link or not …. and if comes from an affiliate I need to track user (of my WP site) that generated this sells and set a commission value to assign.

    • antonio December 1, 2016 at 9:36 pm #

      Hi,
Automatically the users aren’t affiliates. They can access to the affiliates-area page and join to the affiliates program to become an affiliate. If you want to do it automatically, you have available the Affiliates Users plugins.
You can create as many links as you want to the affiliates-area using the shortcodes, but usually this is not necessary, you can create a link to a page (ex. the shop page). When the customer visits the affiliate’s link, he can view the products and another pages, and the referral will be created when he buys something.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

      • Dandi December 2, 2016 at 10:13 pm #

Sorry I see now this your reply, I posted new question more detailed. Can you reply also in this last question to all my points??

        About this

When the customer visits the affiliate’s link, he can view the products and another pages, and the referral will be created when he buys something.

Can’t understand how does it works!
I don’t want a different URL for every product but product URL + affiliate reference in query string, do you mean this with:
“When the customer visits the affiliate’s link”

Every product will have http://www.shop.com/product-name?a=32432 …. where 32432 is affiliate code that will use for promote products and will be used for track info.

Please reply also to my new post.

        Thanks

        • antonio December 4, 2016 at 6:43 pm #

          Hi Dani,
the Affiliates plugin adds the affiliate’s param to the link, so you can have http://www.example.com/?affiliates=32432 and/or http://www.example.com/your-product/?affiliates=32432
When a customer visits this link, then a cookie is created in his browser, so when he purchase something, then the plugin generates a commission (referral) to the affiliate stored in the cookie.
About the question of the rates, you can set custom commission’s rate per affiliates or per products, but not for both togethers.
          You can have:
          Default rate: 1%
          Affiliate_A : 10%
          Affiliate_B : 5%
          Affiliate_C : –
          Product_A : 20%
          Product_B : 25%
          Product_C : –
          If Affiliate_A link used:
          – With Product_A gets: 10%
          – With Product_B gets: 10%
          – With Product_C gets: 10%
          If Affiliate_B link used:
          – With Product_A gets: 5%
          – With Product_B gets: 5%
          – With Product_C gets: 5%
          If Affiliate_C link used:
          – With Product_A gets: 20%
          – With Product_B gets: 25%
          – With Product_C gets: 1%

If the affiliate has a custom rate, then it is used. If not, if the product has a custom rate, then this is used. If not, then the default rate is used (Priority: Affiliate – Product – Default)
You can see the referrals reports from the Totals section in Affiliates->Totals.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

Is there anybody who use plugins from ThemeForest for affiliate system? If yes, please recommend me a good one.

    • Kento November 29, 2016 at 3:08 pm #

      Hi,

Are you asking about a recommendable theme to use with our Affiliates plugins or for an affiliate plugin? For the latter you have the free Affiliates or the premium Affiliates Pro and Affiliates Enterprise. For themes basically any good theme would do as they usually integrate well with our plugins. I would recommend to have a look also at WooThemes.

      Cheers

I’m wanting to make sure affiliate conversions are tracked when a user clicks an affiliate link, leaves the site, then returns to the site later and converts without having been directly referred by that affiliate link during that seesion. Can you tell me if this plugin uses a tracking pixel to track conversions sent by affiliates, or if it only tracks direct conversions?

    • antonio November 3, 2016 at 8:16 am #

      Hi Isaac,
The plugin uses cookies to track the visits. You can configure the cookie timeout from Affiliates->Settings.
Also you have available the Affiliates Permanent plugin to set permanent associations.
Affiliates Enterprise version includes the ‘[affiliates_pixel]‘ shortcode.

We are looking at your plugin for our Woo commerce site and have a few questiosmns
    1) we would like be able to pay our affiliates after a sale is made with a coupon for a specific dollar amount. Is this possible? if it is then if someone f=refers 5 people who make purchases can the amount of this coupon be increased per referred purchase?
    or
can this program be integreated with any of the reward programs there?
    2) Can we have a coupon created for all of our customers and when they share the coupon the buyers receive a percentage disscount and the affiliate receives the specific dollar amount commission in the form of a discount coupon as described above?
    thanks
    Mike

    • antonio May 23, 2016 at 7:09 am #

      Hi Mike,
1.- Affiliates can generate commissions throw affiliate’s link and/or coupons. Affiliates can have coupons assigned, so when a customer uses the coupon, then the affiliate get a commission.
By default the affiliate commissions don’t depend on the number of referrals, but you can create your own custom method. You can use this as reference.
Remember that Affiliates plugin doesn’t process the payment, but ex. once a month you can create coupons with the commissions values.
2.- If you want that all new users will be automaticall affiliates, you can use the Affiliates Users plugin.
With Affiliates Coupons, you can generate bulk coupons easily.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

Yes, the affiliates can see their earnings and more information from the affiliates-area page. Here you have a shortcodes list that you can use to customize this affiliates-area page ([affiliates_affiliate_stats] and [affiliates_affiliate_graph] are very interesting)

    Hi,

On first questions it is about installing Woocommerce integration not Affiliate plugin update. Please read carefully. After installing Affiliate pro, when I go to Affiliates > Settings > Integrations, I could select the button to install Affiliates Woocommerce Integration. When I clicked on the ‘Install’ button, it wouldn’t install Woocommerce Intergration and I received error message as described previously.

For the 2nd question, I would like to pay only ONCE fixed amount to the Affiliate when new user register and make purchase. Is this possible?

    Thnaks

    • antonio January 25, 2016 at 8:49 am #

      Hi Kar,
You need to have installed and activated the ‘itthinx update’ plugin to install the integrations automatically
Simply disable the user registration integration in Affiliates->User Registration, and set the purchase fixed amount in Affiliates->Settings:Commissions.
Please use the forums about support questions.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

  38. Kar January 23, 2016 at 2:52 pm #

    Two questions:

I have just purchased Affiliates Pro and installed. I wanted to have Woocommerce integration, so when I get to Affiliates > Settings > Integrations, it says ‘The Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin is not installed’.

I tried installing it by clicking on the Install button under Woocommerce, I get this ‘An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums’

    1. Do I need to install Woocommerce integration or is it already installed with Affiliates Pro?

    2. If I enabled ‘User Registration’ and set the amount to a fixed value say £3 and also under Settings > Commissions I set the Referral amount to value 5. Does this means when User register the affiliate get £3 even without purchase from Woocommerce store? When purchase is made additional £5 is paid? Can you advice. Honestly, it is not very clearly explained.

    • antonio January 24, 2016 at 10:25 am #

      Hi kar,
about support questions, please open a topic in the forums and we’ll give you premium support.
1.- Please have a look at this topic.
2.- Yes, that’s true, in ‘User Registration’ page, you set the amount that the affiliate gets when a new user is registered (even without purchase). In Affiliates->Settings:Commission you set the commission when the referred user purchase anything.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi,

    I have a few pre-sale questions:

    1. If I purchase Affiliates Pro and than decide to upgrade to the Enterprise version, say, in 2 month. Will I need to pay the full price of the Enterprise plugin or just the difference between the Pro and Enterprise?

    2. Which version supports having 2+ groups of affiliates to receive completely different deals?

    For example:

Affiliate Group A gets X% commission on certain products
Affiliate Group B get Y% commission on all products

    3. Do you offer any trial periods or money back guarantee on the premium Affiliate plugins?

    Thank you

    • antonio December 16, 2015 at 10:34 am #

      Hi Nick,
1.- To upgrade from Pro to Enterprise you will have available a coupon in your downloads page of 59$ discount on Enterprise versioon.
2.- With both versions you have commissions per product and per affiliate. But if you need to have commissions per groups, you need Affiliates Groups.
3.- Please have a look at Terms & Conditions about refunds.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

  42. Nick December 13, 2015 at 10:26 am #

Hello! I have a pre-sale question. My affiliate program will earn users discounts rather than cash payouts. Does this plugin support that functionality?

So basically if Person A referred Person B and received $10 in commissions, Person A should be able to apply that $10 to their next purchase from the site.

    Thanks!
    Nick

    • Kento December 13, 2015 at 3:29 pm #

      Hi Nick,

That’s a great idea but currently it’s not supported. I’ll see if we can add this soon, had it already on our roadmap and didn’t get a chance to implement it yet.

      Cheers

This your response was made on 2015, which is two years now, so I want to know if this feature has been added? My client did not want to payout people, but give them the opportunity to make purchase with the comission earned,

        2. Presently, how is the comission being paid out to customers who has earned comission?

        • antonio August 7, 2017 at 6:53 am #

          Hi UgoChukwu,
You can ‘pay’ your affiliates closing the referrals from the Totals section, and creating coupons with the total value.
Sorry, this process is not automatic, you must do it manually, for example, once a month.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

Hi, I need an affiliate plugin that can integrate with my woocommerce store. I look into you plugins, but not sure which to buy.

My feature is to give affiliate commission for specific product in my woocommerce store. (Only some product entitle for commissions). Which plugins is suitable for this feature, please advice.

Also, for the plugin purchase, is this is yearly subscription, where I have to renew every year? How is the support like if there is any bug, or doesnt work with out website?

    thanks.

    • antonio December 7, 2015 at 6:30 am #

      Hi Jay,
with Affiliates Pro Woocommerce Integration you can do it. This integration is included in Affiliates Pro/Enterprise, so you only need to purchase Affiliates Pro or Enterprise (if you need multi-tier).
To renew the license, you need to purchase the plugin again. If you have problem with the plugin we’ll help you with the Premium support.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hello There, I have 2 pre-order questions.
    – Can you set up Coupon Code to give to affiliates that will give a discount to the customer and give a rate commision to affiliate ?
    – Is a customer can be ralated to the affiliate for life ? Means if the same customer re-order 1 month later, the affiliate still has a commission on the order ?

    Thank you

    • antonio November 16, 2015 at 6:40 pm #

      Hi Nicolas,
1.- You can do it creating a woocommerce coupon, and assign this coupon to an affiliate.
2.- To do it, you need Affiliates Permanent.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

Is there a way for the affiliate’s information to show at the top of all pages, so their clients aren’t confused as to whether they are shopping from the affiliate, or directly from the company?

I have Pro installed. The Settings/ Integrations page says: “Instead of Affiliates WooCommerce Integration Light, you should install and activate the advanced Affiliates WooCommerce Integration.”

How/where do I install / activate the “Affiliates WooCommerce Integration” or the “Affiliates Pro WooCommerce Integration” file/zip/plugin? ~Gary

    • antonio September 25, 2015 at 7:43 am #

      Hi,
ok, please disable the light version, then visit Affiliates->Settings:Integrations and install and activate the Woocommerce integration (in the Integration section you have available all the integrations).
About support questions, please open a topic in the forums.
      Kind Regards,

I’ve been trying to install and activate the WooCommerce integration via the button Integration tab of the Settings section in Affiliates Pro but continue to get the following error:

WordPress.org appears to be running just fine and I didn’t think I needed install the “light” version as posted above. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
